I love the synth sound they used for Electra's part at 1:30. Reminds me very much of 'Lay All Your Love on Me' by ABBA

This is starting to grow on me. I did get myself into a rather negative mindset about the change. I think just because I maybe wrongly expected a carbon copy of what I remembered from the Apollo and Tours. I do think Electra needs a better costume. But I'm going to go with an open mind and embrace the change.

Saw it this evening with an open mind and I wasn't disappointed!! I saw it 8 times at the Apollo, as the original an revamped. I could here a lot of convos with people saying it's geeat❤

I am SOOOO excited to see this in just over a month from now! I loved the original and this looks amazing too! I've not even heard the whole of "I am Me" yet and already it's my new favourite song 🙂 Gary

I don’t care what people say about the costumes. This is my favourite version of Starlight Express. I know that people would rather choose the modern Bochum productions but like the Wembley productions the Megamixes have been released on RU-vid and people are judging it based on the Megamixes alone and I’m just here wondering; “Have they even seen the Wembley production?” I have see bad and good qualities when it comes to the Bochum costumes where the pros go to Rusty, Greaseball and maybe Dustin etc? but the cons go to Electra’s color change. Don’t get me wrong I like the lights that go on him but did he have to have black painting. I would judge it based on how the show is written but I will only do so if there is a bootleg of it but so far I’ve had no luck so there’s no point in judging that show. As for the Wembley show, I can say this, it appeals to modern audiences but this one doesn’t suck and Hydra is my favourite character. I could go into that but that’ll be a story for another day.

Went once in june, coming back in september. Incredible. (btw i live in switzerland)

I have tickets for two weeks from now. It’s a box ticker for me. And I have to say it looks kind of like I expected: People on skates waving their arms about. I just hope the in theatre experience adds something more.
