I think they legit got pissed because she was an investment after all, and this was hella distracting to the fiction (so much so her scenes and interviews online is all what people seem to notice and point out now because it is too hard not to)
That she did, and yes, it is a shame. Blame the incels and the trolls for this one - from what I've heard, she got that completely pointless surgery because of snotty comments from male viewers about her looks. Actors and actresses are an emotionally fragile bunch. Everybody knows this, but somebody just had to push.

She really was so pretty... I just don't get why people do this to themselves. Yes we all age, but those photos were only 5 years ago! She clearly got cosmetic work that went too far. Combine that with natural aging, stress, possibly drinking/smoking and other drugs she now looks 10-15 years older. This is what's called "Hitting the wall".
I don't understand the purpose of this scene. I mean, at first they were attacking the people that criticized Erin for the surgery, but now they did this scene just to make Starlight sad for her past self. ¿What do they want to say anyway?
She doesn't look that bad this season. She looks bad in interviews after filming this season. I hope that by next season the botox and other issues will go away a bit 😅
90 percent of the series' budget will be spent on a vfx artist to fix Starlight. All shots of the actress will be made from the back and take place in a dark rooms.

I could’ve rewritten the story with Starlight’s face got so severely burned from Soldier Boy’s nuclear explosion that she had to have plastic surgery on her face and it costed the boys millions to keep her heroic face intact. But the side effect of the plastic surgery made her look more ugly and less attractive than before and that she doesn’t resemble her old self anymore. It’s the symbol of ridding her past innocent optimistic self and become the real woman she becomes to be.
I highly doubt it. From everything Ive seen, she is happy with how she looks now but was feeling bad because everyone was ragging on her for her decision. YaII meed to grow up, not everything is aboutyou. She made these changes to appeal to herself not to yaII
Starlight was the star of the show man Young looks, brightful eyes, puffy cheeks I guess the show maker lucky to have her getting her own surgery so they dont have to make make ups and such Also nice jab at hollywood who keep making actor/actress portraying their character with zero cares

@@eggheadusa I never had that kind of surgery but when I was younger I always cared what other people thought it caused me to go down a road where I became extremely unhealthy where I almost died. So yeah I think what I said is important.
