Take a look inside the #Starliner on its Orbital Flight Test. Four interior cameras captured the mission, and this video covers nearly every dynamic event during the flight, including launch, separation events, on-orbit maneuvering, re-entry and landing. This is just a preview of what’s to come from the Dec. 20-22 flight as we prepare to release all our onboard mission footage.

“Docking with the space station wasn’t a primary objective. We’ve tested the adapter on the ground. It worked for SpaceX.” People say. Watch. 5 bucks says that when the thing gets commanded to free drift and links with the space station, the software will freak out due to some “unforeseen error” and fires the abort engines and ruins the stations’ orbit. And then they have to burn a Progress’ engines for like 35 straight hours to fix the orbit, while the Starliner has next to nothing for deorbit.

It did not dock, a clock setting was wrong which resulted a quarter of the fuel getting wasted therefore they didn't do orbit raising burn, just a couple of days LEO before reentry. It must have been bitterly disappointing for everyone, especially the engineers who built it and the astronauts who didn't receive their christmass goodies.

Interior should be more alien tech. Replace the 16th century windows with some HD. And all that white plastic gives it all a cheap 1990s diaper changing table vibe. Think 1930s Sci-fi when you design the next one...

@@_mikolaj_ heavier than space grade windows and plastic? Carbon fiber, Kevlar, aluminum alloys....all kinds of options stronger and lighter than plastic. The whole thing should be see they with redundant instruments hidden behind touch type plasma screens so when they are not in use, its like they aren't even there. Should feel like a bubble while n transit. Equipment not in use would be invisible to crew until needed. Why should barely used gear hog up all the prime viewing real estate? That's so primitive.
