@@troyholl99 One use case I can foresee - someone who uses the mini as emergency internet backup, like a small business. you have to put the dish outside, and the wifi is also outside, but you and your staff are inside. You run ethernet out of the dish, back inside and plug into your existing router - BOOM everyone is back online. This is exactly why I'm getting it. My whole business depends on 100% connectivity and our local provider has had some downtime. When that happens we literally can't even bring up a patients files because it's all in the cloud. So as a backup the ethernet port is essential.
If you add it to a residential plan ($120/mo) for $30/mo you get 50 Gig of data then it's $1 per gig after that. Unimpressive and a good way to burn good will and scare existing customers. Must have hired some business manager from AT&T or Verizon. :(
