Starman v Sportsmaster! The Murder Mystery Continues! Did *SPOILER Die!? - Stargirl 3x03 Review! 

The fight choreography is definitely top tier! The fight between Starman, Sportsmaster and Tigress was dope af! Mister Bones could've had Sylvester attacked because he could've been interfering with the experiment he has planned. My theory is that the MYSTERY person is someone apart of the Helix....it's either Arak the wind walker who can manipulate air or it's Carcharo the shark man who has superhuman strength or Kritter who's a large mutated man dog with superhuman strength.

I love how creative the fights in stargirl are. I also like how sportsmaster and tigress never ran from the fight against starman.

That supermarket fight was so damn good

I have a theory of my own,what if the gamblers daughter was taken or kidnapped by mister bones just like jade's brother.Plus it would line up with why the gambler was having hard time finding her due to Mister Bones trying to keep him from getting her back.

Pagey Rick did mention the flat tire. The next scene where Courtney gets the call from Mike about where Starman is, Pat tells Rick he's late to the meeting and he says "Sorry had a flat tire"

Starman low-key scary AF when he angry!! Also why do get the feeling that dragon King knows about Mr bones and there's something about it in his file! Also who in the giganta picked up starman and tossed him like a ragdoll!?

First theory I think Cindy is apart of Mr Bones crew and that’s why she had Artemis break her parents out of prison last season so they can take the fall for Gamblers death, Gambler might not have been killed for searching for his daughter but Mr Bones knew Gambler had the blackmail evidence against the Crocks and wanted to threaten them with it to join him, and that is why they seemed so mad and nervous at the end of episode 2 because they are afraid the Whitmore Dugan’s won’t trust them anymore or will land them back in prison, also why Cindy sent all the blackmail evidence to Beth to draw all the blame on the Crocks. Second theory maybe the ISA and Mr Bones were partners, and maybe the Crocks were going to leave so the Gambler decided to blackmail them to stay, and once the ISA split up and the blackmail stopped the Crocks assumed it was safe but moved next to the Whitmore-Dugan house as a just in case, then once Gambler was murdered the Crocks knew Mr Bones was involved and knew he was in Blue Valley so they were nervous about what he might do, I also believe Cindy is involved with Mr Bones, that’s why Cindy has kept Gamblers laptop to find out what he has learned, I think Jordan’s parents are involved with him as well and could potentially be training Cameron for him, and once Cameron is done training he will learn about who Jordan was and about Project New America they will probably twist things around, that’s why after Sylvester was rushing to Gamblers trailer Jordan’s parents were rushing around probably going to tell Mr Bones of his involvement.

Paula ,and Barbara friendship I can get behind it kinda seem like Cindy, and Courtney trending that way too.

Stargirl just gets better and better I love this show

I think Mr. bones had some of the members from helix like critter to kill gambler so he would not find his daughter and green lantern and her brother

I had a thought this morning about the 'killer' and the connection to Starman's attacker... I think this is a weird Jekyl and Hyde thing... we saw Cindy doing some weird stuff to try to change herself in the premiere, drinking some weird chemicals... what if she did kill the Gambler and attacked Starman but she has no recollection of doing it because she transforms into an alternate monstrous form... like being the daughter of Dragon King...

At this point of the story all my theories for the villain has gone kapoot! I am really enjoying this arc. So much turmoil , and you can really see how gritty of an era Starman and Stripsey lived through. Who would have ever thought that starman would be committing vigilante justice. In my opinion this is currently the best CW show

It got to be Kritter ,and Arak wind - walker at the end of the episode both of them are member of helix kritter is a dog who good at tech related stuff so he must be watching from the monitor. Arak has wind powers so he lifted slyvestor in the sky at the end.

I think James Todd killed gambler because he has the power to do that to the trailer

This was my favorite episodes love the fight scene ,and choreography between star man ,and the crocks it was top tiers.

I hope Sylvester didn't die. We waited from the end of season 1 for his return and him dieing after 3 episodes would just be a waste. My bet is at most he will be in a coma for a while and the jsa will try and figure out who did it. Also I think that the person wracking the monitors is Mr bones. We now he is coming this season also I think that the one who took put Sylvester is obsidian because he is tied to Mr bones for what we know

I'm guessing by episode 6 they find out Cindy is the one who has the gambler laptop.

stunts are worth the price of admission! Two mysteries : who is watching our heroes? Who is the murderer? video feeds in a dreary institutionalized tiled room? could be Bones or the return of Dragon King. clues to murderers identity; superior strength and height or flight. inconclusive! Maybe someone new!?

HOly crap that was the best ep of the season so far, at least for me... Starman was amazing and the Crocs and the drama... the FIGHT, MAGNIFIQUE!!! The tension, the emotional stuff... this show is almost too good for a show airing on the CW I don't think Starman is dead but almost made you think he could be... I think the guy watching from the monitors is Mr. Bones I think there was an Easter Egg for Joel Mchale's other famous role... Sylvester walks past a huge mural that say COMMUNITY in two shots... so yeah, Jeff Winger lives... which btw, he was channeling his classic Joel Mchale dry sarcastic tone all over this role

I have a theory that the main killer is Gorilla Grodd!!! When you hear the grunting noise it sounds like an animal. The way the RV looks, the telekinesis that could explain why Cindy has the gun, and maybe it’s a different Gorilla Grodd from a different earth. Remember before crisis happened Gorilla Grodd was on earth 2, so maybe there’s 2 Gorilla Grodd’s?? One on Earth Prime and the other is on the same earth as StarGirl!!! And also the way Sylvester elevates off the ground and come back to the ground bleeding, it has to be Gorilla Grodd!!

There were at least 2 scenes in this episode where the wire work on Tigress was extremely obvious! I thought was poor other then that, the fight was cool and episode was good

Also everyone remember no one has seen Mr Bones since the season finale

It’s definitely obsidian, Sylvester just get pulled up into nothingness and it’s extremely dark, Todd is a villain a lot as well so it makes sense but I don’t know why he murdered gambler, maybe because bones took her and he’s close to figuring out about infinity inc

May have been Cameron that killed gambler with a ice cycle just like he did Rick's tire. Probably not I'm sure they wouldn't make him a villain like that.

The episode was pretty cool. The three things/theories I noticed/have are: 1. The thing that grabbed Starman seemed to shimmer with light. I think that might be an evil version of The Thunderbolt (he was a big bad that the JSA, JLA, Jakeem and The Thunderbolt fought in a huge story in the comics). I can’t remember his name, but I could see the writers reworking that character to fit in with Mr. Bones and Helix’s experiments by making him their creation. 2. The file on the Gambler’s laptop that Cindy couldn’t access was the file on Dragon King (you can see his name if you zoom in on the screen) I still think either she’s dying from her powers (or they’re just malfunctioning) and she needs her dad’s note’s on everything he did to her in order to find a cure. Which was why she took the laptop and was at the murder scene. 3. I think Cameron knows that Courtney is Stargirl and she fought against his father (thanks to his creepy grandparents). And that’s why he gave her the cold shoulder earlier, but then was friendlier afterwards. He’s either still struggling with what to do and/or is playing her as part of some twisted revenge plot his grandparents came up with.

man that fight prove how strong was Starman and I actually want see that night when they got attack of how they kill all of the JSL include Starman cause if he was that powerful, they must have jump him after they kill the whole team because he was handling his against his own against Sportsmaster and tigress and I can tell Cindy really want be part of the team and I think by the end of the season she and Artemis going be full teammates by the end of the season and this episode also prove how Courtney grown cause last two season she would just attack them but she instead just want talk to them and not rush in

I wonder if the defund the police movement has hit Blue Valley. They didn't seem very responsive to the mayhem and destruction at the grocery store. Nor did any investigator stop by the house to talk to Sylvester.

Plot twist Sylvester killed gambler

The whole seeing Star man alive at the end of season one, having bits of Star man in season two, no sighting in the tv-comic, and THEN seeing Sylvester in the Whitmore-Dugan household as if being dead wasn't a big deal= major let-down IMO. Has everyone had their mind altered? Besides that, not having a bit more action, not having Jade to continue the storyline, or the rest of the current JSA members not shown much: I like the running tea gag, Paula's awkwardness, and Artemis being Artemis

I tend to agree the other JSA members are kinda falling behind in the story to allow Joel Mchale to come to the forefront as probably a term for getting him to appear more this season than the past 2

I THINK MY IDEAS IT MIGHT BE THE DROGEN KING UPGRADED THAT SURVIVED AND HE BACK FROM THE DEAD THAT MY GUESS

I was suspecting of Starman, and the damage the staff did in the fight with the Crocks made it look like he could've destroyed the Gambler's trailer, but the events at the end of this episode seem to clear him. So, based on the end and Cindy having the laptop, this is my new theory: Grundy lives! He destroyed the Gambler's trailer and ran off. Then Cindy stabbed and killed the Gambler, taking his laptop, and acting all innocent when the rest of the JSA showed up.

Pagey, my money is on Obsidian. Watch both attacks with his powers in mind. Mr. Bones probably has him under control. This will bring Jenny back to the show. Maybe she'll help make a Cosmic Rod for Starman then he can mentor Infinity Inc.

I think that's what this is going to ultimately become is a representation of how starman was a man of his time things he did back then was acceptable because people allowed it but now he's essentially a Man out of Time out of his own time literally and culturally with ultimately going to make him a villain

The one question is does the world even know the JSA are back or is it a old school superhero team some people remember. It seems like everyone doesn't even know superheros ever existed in the past. The government does seem to cover up the JSA missions in a way so Idk .

I still think that The Gambler was stabbed with an ice blade and it melted.

This episode was awesome!! I really enjoyed it! It would definitely suck if Sylvester is dead again. I’m really enjoying the addition of him to season 3, hope there will be more. The biggest thing for me coming out of the episode is, what the heck more is going on with Cindy?! My biggest question is how she got the Gambler’s computer. Definitely very interested on what more she may be hiding. I’m VERY curious and interested on the direction Cameron is going!! The promo for the next episode is insane!! I don’t know why but part of what’s going on with him reminds me on how Frost started to appear in season 2 of the Flash. It would be very cool ( pun intended😅) and interesting if he become a character kind of similar to Frost. I honestly wouldn’t mind something like that, that would make season 3 more interesting!!

Sylvester is out of control. I wonder if he was as volatile when he was in the JSA. I thought it was funny that Sports master whispered about the staff in the grocery store and showing secret identities to Sylvester.

I was actually disappointed in pat's reaction to Sylvester. Not because he called him a sidekick, but he focused the talk purely on Courtney. Sylvester was behaviour like a villain endangering people to get a false confessions. He was reckless just destroying everything around him. It was very odd writing

Yes this is really like a massive game of Cluedo 😂 but omg Starman was very shoot first ask questions later, I do hope he's okay tho. Have we ruled out the possibility of the dragon king coming back ? Idk but the gloves seem interesting too small to be Grundy in my opinion....

The fight scene was really good I think Sylvester’s attitude the same as Sara’s bloodlust where she goes on a killing spree so that’s how I see it and Cindy is probably trying to help but not an good way she thinks of it and the crocks are innocent I can’t believe I’m saying that lol I think mr. Bones is in the security cameras and I think its a bird or Grundy that killed the gambler and maybe Sylvester? If he’s is died? Hmm? I want to see mr. Bones it was tease in season 2 finale

What a great episode! I love the dynamic between Sylvester and Pat. Joel Mchale is doing some great work in this season. Plus….the continuing Cameron story has been incredibly interesting from the beginning of Season 1…but especially since he lost his dad. Also enjoyed the interaction between Sylvester and Yolanda at the beginning of the episode. Can’t wait to see how Bones introduces himself to Courtney. Other than that..just hoping The Shade returns quickly. I personally don’t need more of Rick or Beth but..I wouldn’t mind it either. Love the show. Great content as always Pagey!

While the killer is most likely involved with Helix… what if Dragon King is back? If Cindy did see who killed The Gambler (Dragon King) that would explain why she is trying to access the files on Dragon King on the laptop and why she’s doing experiments on herself

stargirl sportmaster is was extramly anwsome ever I think it's really interesting show ever I think it's was a blast and very cool ever I absolutely think it's has potential huh honestly it is really amazing character on the cw tv show is definitely terrific ever nice 🙂

I think the murderer is Henry Jr., it would make sense for the destruction of the trailer, why Cindy might be doing things solo cause she saw him and wants answers but doesn’t want the JSA to know cause she wants to confront him herself, and he could have easily lifted Sylvester and through him with his powers. Also why hide Mr Bones if they already showed him in the end credit for season 2 so I really think it’s Henry in the Brainwave suit, and yes he’s dead but so was Starman so whatever brought him back could’ve also brought back Henry.

I was right about the Crocks and the gambler having a past connection that would make it look like they had a reason to kill him. Plus Sylvester's unwillingness to let go of the sins of the past and his "once a villain always a villain" attitude towards them didn't help
