The difference being he wasn't an MP at the time, nor was he affiliated with the government. If he were to go over now you'd be right in calling him a hypocrite. However, it's not about him, it's about our government interfering - Labour needs to realize it's in government and should behave accordingly, they are no longer a protest party.
