I moved from the US to Australia, then from Australia to the UK. A few years back, I moved from the UK to the Russian Federation - best move I ever made! I love it here. My wife is Russian, so the move was very easy for me. We had also been establishing our own small business here over the last 10 years, and it's now paying off. I don't think I'll ever return to the UK again. Made some really good friends there, but in terms of "quality of life" (especially for young children), things in the UK are pretty grim (unless your super wealthy).

I left in 1997 and have never looked back. Could not get work there for three years. In my present country I got work in the first week. England died years ago. Used to be a pleasant place to live but now spoilt completely. Used to have mines, make cars, motorcycles and now makes nought important except military weapons. The government of all sides needs an appointment with deep water when attached to a large rock. This would be a very green way of feeding the crabs and should not harm the environment in any way /s
