And yup. I’ll show them from A to Z how much they are wrong.
A description will never be enough to describe my emotions while reading The Hate U Give, and then while watching the movie. I never experienced a lack of respect by police officers, probably because I have a white face, I come from a rich neighborhood and they think « oh, here is a gentle little girl ».
We are all different. Mankind too often join the difference with inequalities. I’ve seen a lot of testimonies of abusing control by the police, and I followed the #BLM movement a little bit to stay tuned to the world we live in. We are « equal », however there is still so much to process…
Take care, and if you have something to say, as long as it’s done into mutual respect, you can express by comments. Not gonna lie I cried during Starr’s speech. Because we are all witnesses. And I’m done with it.
