Oh My!!!!! This is so lovely and I wish I had come across this site earlier. Your work is excellent and the instructions are nice and easy to follow. Thank you very much.
Hi Susan, I’ve finally finished my blanket. I was never able to crochet as a child and my sister could, but thanks your methodical tutorials I’ve done it. It looks gorgeous. Quick question, how do you weave in the ends. Thanks
Lovely to hear your blanket looks lovely. As for weaving in my ends I tend to weave them in as I go hopefully I will be able to put together a little tutorial.
This is absolutely gorgeous I would love to give this a go thank you the yarn is beautiful where can you purchase this please. best wishes from Ireland ☘️☘️
Thank you😊. It is available from The Range it is the Divante Cream Glitter Yarn. For 100g you get 150m, I used about 12 balls for the Blanket and it costs £2.20 per ball. They recommend a 4mm needle...but it is definitely a bulky/chunky 5 weight yarn...so I used a 6.5 and 6.0mm hook. Hope this helps. I have just opened my ETSY shop if you are interested in the pattern, tiaralacecrochet.etsy.com Best wishes Susan
Yes, the throw will be slightly smaller. If that is a problem and you still want to use a 4 weight just add more multiples of 4. I would measure the length after row 2 to check. You might want to adjust the panels too by working 2 extra rows in each star stitch panel and in the narrow diamond panel you could work an extra 4 rows in each. It is one of those patterns that is quite open to adaptation. Hope this helps😊
@@TiaraLaceCrochet Thank you so much for your fast reply to my question. I just found you on you tube and I am hooked I made the star stitch blanket and I am now working on the cluster stitch. I wanted to make a nice wedding gift for a friend of my daughters so I think I will be doing the throw with the panels in a cream color that is a yarn that has a sheen to it very soft (Michael's Loops and Threads Soft & Shiny)
Donald I’m so glad you asked about 4 weight yarn! I’m also wanting to use that weight and wanted to know how many rows to add to adjust the panels. Susan, I’ve purchased this pattern on Etsy to follow along and would love to know if adding any other rows are needed per panel.
