Starship America at Hersheypark 

This is the Starship America ride at Hersheypark in Hershey, PA. This is a Roto Jet ride that once operated at Ponchartrain Beach Park near New Orleans, LA. It operated at that park from 1956-1961. It was then bought by Hersheypark and where it operated from 1962-2002 when it was put in storage. The park brought it out of storage in 2005 and has been operating here ever since. This ride was made by Kasper Klaus with ride gondolas that were custom made for Hersheypark.
