Caterpillar Minister advises Ratboy Genius and the plan for defeating the Big Fish Boss and the Fish Legions is revealed, as well as the astonishing consequence of that plan. The Galactic Superheroes sing about their plan for dealing with the Cosmic Thunderbolt. Summer Solstice Baby can't understand why all of the fish follow the Big Fish Boss, and Ratboy Genius delivers a poignant monologue in response. RBG then sends Mister Bigarms and Very Tall Friend on a dangerous mission to make contact with Little King John, as Little King John's help will be required to defeat the Fish Legions.

@@neonlemurs4865 We _do_ see him, and he _does_ use his own voice. A majority of the characters are just autotuned variations of Ryan's own voice (Ratboy aside), and his face has been revealed in numerous sources.

@@playlist1027 Actually no, not 100%. Characters like Caterpillar Minister and the Summer Solstice Baby use recordings of Ryan's voice with altered pitches to sound like different characters. Ryan confirmed this in a radio interview. In this particular episode, only Ratboy, Mr. Bigarms, Very Tall Friend, and Old Froggy have TTS voices (Macintalk Bruce). And those are still technically autotuned to sound distinct from each other.

Honestly Caterpillar Minister is one of my favorite character, and he's only really talked in this episode! I love the fact that his hat seems to be a separate entity and has a mind of its own.

I too love how fluid the animation is becoming, not to mention the ever-increasing lore of the Ratboy Genius universe. I used to think Ratboy Genius's 3D form was unsettling, but as I've watched more, he strikes me as cute now. Love the series; I am at the edge of my seat as well!!

I just came after watching The flood... Holy cow, how can this be so deep and so thrilling??? I came here expecting memes and weirdness and i found a deep rich story, amazing characters and awesome music... This is the awesome weird part of RU-vid nobody tells you about... I thought I'd go to the start of the Starship Genius playlist so I would get to grips with the story line. however, on the first video on the playlist it was the date of October 2014, and it brought back such nostalgia and although I feel very emotional right now, it seems to have made me realise some stuff. keep up the work man, these videos are amazing

I've listened to the Battle Plan song long before I've watched this episode, and it finally makes sense to me. The thunderbolt will be sent to LKJ's galaxy, creating the deluge as a byproduct of the energy conversion to that galaxy, which they have created. And since time and space don't align between these dimensions, RBG's airship had been there for thousands of years, "over there this happened long ago, and now it's our time!" This is some serious Homestuck stuff here!

This ought to be absurd, but it's really engrossing. You're sure making us wait for the finale (yes indeed, that's right), but thankfully the story so far rewards rewatching and relistening. I'll be delighted when there's even more of this.

Something I find very interesting about this episode is the cosmic thunderbolt. I once heard not long before I first saw this video last year that it is possible that a cosmic thunderbolt caused the great canyon on planet Mars. I also realized that some of those shapes seem like Sacred Geometry.
