Growing up as a kid in the eighties this is song was practically obligatory listening on FM radio, great to see these ol' geezers still bring the passion to a timeless classic song! Thanks for sharing EVS!
Be appreciative that you now have the teaching whereof you were deprived as a youngster or youngstresse. Misplaced modifier: "growing up as a kid" is an adjectival phrase. It must modify a noun that appears in the sentence (pronouns are nouns). What noun follows the phrase? "this song". So "this song" was "growing up as a kid"? I bet you never diagrammed a sentence in your life's time. Learn right English, and set the example for others to follow.
Love your videos . Common sense is in short supply. It’s nice to see it still alive here on your. Cool song and two icons of rock not stopped by age. Love it 😎🎸
@@joswaltaudio yeah I heard Ethan explaining it before. I know Jeff. airplane became Jeff. starship and now finally just starship. Not overly familiar with the line ups through the years, but do know they got some great hits 👍
@@jamesmurphy.Jefferson Starship also still tours. Two separate lineups. I strongly recommend listening to live versions of these songs from both bands. I’ll let you draw your own conclusions…
It's ok and very radio friendly pop...but early Jefferson Airplane is ten times better and actually rocks pretty hard as well as being psychedelic. The show looks like fun! Glad you had a great time.
These aren’t even the original members. Jefferson Airplane became Jefferson Starship in 1977, then they retired the band in 1984. Starship was revival of sorts with no original lead members, just the same songs. That said, I actually think they sound pretty good here.
