@@ОдинРом, зря. За энергетическим видом транспорта - будущее. Если бы не жадность капиталистов, цивилизация уже лет 50 назад перешло бы на подобный тип движителей.
@@LeonardoRossetti We were due to be in Mountain View again this April but our flights from the UK were cancelled. Sadly it seems we won't be getting there this year but we are more positive about 2021!
Hahaha yeah , the robots wait till there isn't no vehicles coming then they cross but our fellow dimwitted humans walk out into the street when there are vehicles going past , it's pretty bad that a robot can make safer decisions than what a human brain does.
Yeah, I agree electric bikes can really cover a good part of your needs. I'd say except for when you have to go buy a lot of groceries or if you have to transport someone around...
Ну глядя на то что как сейчас ИИ умнеет не по дням а по часам то думаю додумаются откуда взять ресурс. А потом будет как в фильме война миров люди как ресурс.@@Skuf-r5n
And in this case, if you transfer someone, there is a taxi. And if you buy a lot of products, it’s easier now to order home delivery. It’s much simpler and the price is reasonable. So in the future, in a small city, a car is not needed at all for everyday needs.@@LeonardoRossetti
Интересно где и кто их заряжает и на сколько их вообще хватает по запасу хода. В России такие лучше на широких гусеницах делать или колеса от фетбайка, так удобнее будет по глубокому снегу ездить.
Good point! I can't speak to the power reserve, but I can tell you that - in Mountain View - they used to be stored and charged in a grocery store in front of which they were usually parked in stand by during the day. So I'm imagining you need a business to host them for the night.
Plan A. THE DELIVERIES IS GOING WELL AND THE SOMETIMES A CLICH HAPPENS DO YOU HAVE A WAY OUT? Robots is a wonderful thing sometimes you maybe have to have a plan B.
They can deliver groceries but can they go a round in robot wars? 😁 Very cool the way they give way to pedestrians and wait to cross the road even if it is against a pedestrian no crossing light.
Ahah I seriously doubt they would survive in a Robot war 🥹 And, yes, they are very scared/conservative towards pedestrians and they do a pretty good job at respecting the signs 💁
I deliver for DD and this Starship inspired me to make my own delivery cart 😊It’s not remote control: but I push a 3 wheel cart with delivery bag and drink cooler in one , customers love it
Being a retired Army logistics dude. These things (modified of course) could revolutionize battlefield logistics. Pizza delivery is cool but DOD is where the $$$ is
That's an interesting POV... Why would it work better in Japan? My idea of JP is that's way more crowded and chaotic than suburban California, hence more difficult for it to navigate around... No?
NO need to wait until you are drunk to push them over. They are Schwab's little leeches. Wait for the ones with machine guns mounted on them firing at YOU.
The pavement is for people. The road is for motorised vehicles and that is where they should all be. Good luck with the traffic. We should all be walking to collect items anyway.
I see where you are coming from, but I think that a device that can be aware of its surrounding, and not interfering or harming people walking next to them, could potentially exist well on a pavement...
I tend to disagree on this one. What does the mean of transportation have to do with the quality of what you order? Does the type of DoorDasher or Uber driver you get assigned to your delivery change the way the food is prepared or taste? Of course assuming this "toy" doesn't take way longer than a human to bring you the food, making it stale or cold.
@@jerryjohanan1940 I hear you but... Would you tip a robot? And... Would you get a delivery from a person just because you wanna tip them? Good point tho, maybe they should include a way to tip the restaurant instead of the delivery robot 💁🏼♂️
I could run Rings around these stupid Robots and they are super slow they just want to make money without Contributing to the Economy and that should not be tolerated!~!!
@@LeonardoRossetti no..they will have different customers each day if they are doing any three of the curious plus google is not 100% accurate just yesterday Uber eats app told me that there was a road that looks like it was closed years ago.. Or Gps goes to a house a block aways from the customer 🙄 orvthe totaly wrong address... training data be dammed.. i have seen 50 of them just sitting there not moving as i said befor this is the company not wanting to have employees just dumb robots like Wal-Mart
