The difficulty on this game is unreal. I had to stop playing on Pinball Arcade because the stupid trigger buttons were cutting into my fingers when I try to make those split-second shots.
I'm getting the hang of this on TPA. Playing fast and aggressive is just too hard. You want slow, touch shots aimed towards the ramps and orbits. Also in TPA, if you cradle the ball on the right and hit the mini-flipper it'll go right into the nuke hole! That was a big find I made today
It's been a while since you made this comment, but I found a potential use for that flipper. I've found this strat to work on The Pinball Arcade, and have no idea if it works on a real machine. If you manage to catch the ball on your main right flipper, then use the third flipper, you can flick that ball straight into the kickout hole on the left side that can give you a bonus. It may not be an efficient way to rack up points over time, but even if it isn't, I think it's pretty cool.
