I’ve created a coaching program for detailers wanting to get into CERAMIC COATINGS. One guy I helped went from 1 coating in 2 weeks to 7 coatings in 7 days!!
Do not buy this guys program. I spent 300 $. There is zero actual info on marketing, the course is not even complete. No one is using the Facebook group he has made and he will not reach back out to me about a refund for the false advertised info. He is a scam
It’s knowledge, most of the time successful entrepreneurs aren’t going to give out their complete guide to their success for free like getting a degree in college still gotta pay
Yeah this guys fool of crap you cant have 60% profit margin with 18 fucking employees at 75k topline unless he literally has slave labor. Lets say each one of his employees makes on average 3k a month. 3k times 18 is 54k. So with that being said hes claiming he pays his in employees more than 3k a month. THE MATH DOES NOT ADD UP. This guy is total bs.

I started detailing in 2008 I was 22 I used customers water and power I provided everything else. I did that for a few years. Now I just detail out of my garage and do drop offs. I work alone as I help my bro do real estate I detail on the side now from being full time. I started out of the house as a newbie, anyone can do it, but you can’t be lazy
@@fightsandfinance7570 There is a lot of work, when the quality and customer service matching your brand and expectations of your customers. l leveraged dealer friends and had family at the time who worked in offices. so I cleaned their cars at the office as a start up. Now that we have a house garage I stopped mobile and only do it at my house part time, not full time. You don't want to live your life detailing and have no time freedom to do what you want to do. The best way is having people work for you and have hardly over head cost. So more time for you to focus on bigger important tasks or family time. Real estate is the game changer.
@@Oakcitymedia I love your answer brotha. Honestly all for my parents. Lol. I'm currently doing Doordash in LA and make about 220 a day, I was thinking if I get into the detailing business or pressure washing business I guess since they both use a pressure washer I may be able to do both? I would hope to make at least double the money of Doordash and have work everyday whether it would just be me doing car detailing, pressure washing, or both, or even carpet cleaning.. Looking to do about 3 jobs a day. I currently do doordash from like 7am to 10pm and was thinking I start one of these businesses. What you think? Lol
@@fightsandfinance7570 Thanks brotha! I moved out of L.A. in the 818 SFV at 20 years old, honestly I don't think I could had made it as far as I have if I hadn't moved out of the state when everything was cheaper in the east coast. Gotta do what you love chase your passion money will follow.... Find what you love to do, and how you can serve and make a difference in the world. I got into detailing during high school. I would look into drive way/porch cleaning as I do that for spring. But to spend little and get more ROI back carpet cleaning. I used my carpet shampoo machine and it paid for it self and much more. I get referred from a house cleaning company, that's where I get clients. Just really have to put in the work and be WILLING to sacrifice and give up things for what truly matters to you and your future stability. Detailing is much more learning curve, Pressure washing small things like porches/patios or carpet cleaning can catch on, and you can mix the two. It's a bit less taxing on your body as well and not long hours like detailing. Just need a truck, or a hitch and small trailer to haul things.
@@Oakcitymedia hey, just curious on how you made the switch over to real estate ? Where did you get your leads? Was it through your businesses or personal referrals?
I had an auto detailing business back 20 years ago. It is so much easier of a business to do now. The amount of tools and products that are on the market for proprietary jobs and take the elbow grease out of the task of cleaning is out of this world. I am very happy for the auto detailing industry today. You guys are very lucky.
I’ll assume you want to make $. I watched a dozens and dozens of drain cleaning vids and got some tools and now I make great $ with it. I already have another biz and started the drain thing in addition to that. Basically is super easy and you can charge good to great $ and be in and out
I have to get off my ass, I remember when the first interview was posted about how he got started and the products he used just starting out and wow. Look at the growth !!! Amazing and inspiring.. this guy is so honest and genuine.. def taking notes ! Thanks for a great upload and update
I’ve created a detailing business to 6-figures since May! After watching that episode! 39x 5-star reviews. Electric Mobile Detailing. I pay 100% commission to my detailers.
as an aspirant entrepreneur in the startup world its so inspiring to see the brick-and-mortar business pick up and be successful. I can think that some thinking and business tactics can be replicated online or you can mix and match stuff. one word.. inspiring now going back to focus mode.
Your numbers aren't adding up. If your margins are 60%, that means 18 employees AND all overhead expenses shared the remaining 40% (30k). If you had no expenses and split that 30k between employees, That's less than 1700 each for an entire month. But you do have expenses such as vehicle maintenance, fuel, cleaning supplies etc. So either you pay your employees peanuts or your margins are more like 20%. OR you don't have nearly as many employees as you say and the 75k revenue number for that month is an outright lie.
I call BS on his numbers. His company is not making almost a mill. And his employees are not pulling in $1500 a week. I have a mobile detailing business and as an owner I pull in $2,000 a week
What is more alarming to me is how you couldn't see this was a load of B.S. from the click bait title. Furthermore, you decided to watch the click bait, gather data on it, and then take the time to outline it all, as if the troll, scam artist was ever going to explain or rationalize it to you. The real travesty is that there are even stupider people than you who will actually give this scumbag money and it's legal.
someone break this to me please. he made 75k last month and there is 60% profit after labor and material. before that he mentioned detailer make 1500 to 2500 biweekly. he has 18 employee , 4k a month averagely which means 72k only for labor . how come he has 60% profit??????????????????????????
Do the math with the numbers he quoted is this video and you'll know this business owner is outright lying. Nothing straight up about him at all. Just a young kid that hopes you can't think for yourself.
Hey Paul, you are a good interviewer! Thanks for asking valuable questions, giving time for full responses, and NOT saying "Tell us about..." at the front of every question like so many (even network!) interviewers do. Thank you, Alan, for your generosity in sharing so much information, too.

Does he make 900,000 a year, or does he have 900,000 a year in sales? Because your thumbnail says he makes 900,000 a year. There's a massive difference.
ONR has its place for a light detail like that but i wouldnt use that on neglected cars...its not tough enough at that point....besides that im really impressed with this guy and his business ethics and knowhow....$75k on his best month with 60% profit margin is amazing...he is very motivated
I know I've been lurking for a while now but as always I enjoy your videos. Him being a tad bit older than me just motives me to do a lot more throughout the day. He's such a big entrepreneurial-oriented person. I like his mindset and how he manages his business. Way to go to him. This video was spectacular and super insightful. Definitely one of the best you've ever put out. I think I just had a pretty solid idea on how he could improve his business. He said he updates his clients pretty frequently by calling them. Why not just make an app that shows where their cars are at, if they're being washed, how much longer they should wait till they get their cars back and all that. What do you guys think about it? It would be way may more efficient, much more user-friendly and less time-consuming. He should also start a RU-vid channel as well. It would be such a money maker for sure. Something else I've been thinking about is how you guys can improve this channel and make a little bit more money with it. Have you ever considered the idea of making a course on how to start from the ground up, how to start any business, not just a specific one. Me being 19 years old and still not going to college doesn't help me a lot. I would love to start a business of mine but I know for a fact I would be better off working on site and then kind of grow from there. Any tips on how to get started? I have ideas, but I'm afraid to implement them. With that being said, have a nice day guys and keep this channel on fire, because it has helped me shift my mindset so much.
Thank you for the feedback Dario. As always we appreciate your spectacular comment. 😀 The wonderful thing about being in business rather its owning a business or working for a business is that each day is a change to learn and grow. Many of the business owners on our channel started off working for someone else and was able to transition to self employment through their working experiences. We're so happy the story inspired you and was relatable. We think you have a bright future ahead and always have such great ides. We love the idea about creating a course and we think this would be so helpful to many of our viewers. Make sure you keep us up to date with your business progress and let us know what other questions you have along the way!?😀👍⭐

I wonder if that 60% profit margin is all made up bullshit intending to manipulate people into buying his course. Which, based on other peoples accounts is a complete scam and doesn’t deliver whatsoever.
My guess is he’s being slightly dishonest with his numbers because he’s trying to sell a course. Every grifter selling a course is chalk full of fall claims and dishonest marketing. Not saying this guys a scammer but as a rule of thumb, be weary of anyone selling courses.
How do the 60% margins work?? 30% direct labor (commissions), ~5%marketing, ~15% overhead salaries (not including owner). Those 3 are already 50%, not even including operating costs (materials, vehicles etc.)…
Marketing and heart are really what it takes to run a successful business! Caring about what you do is essential, marketing is only secondary to passion, so whatever your's is, chase it and don't take no for an answer! : )
Another great video and story!! Absolutely love seeing these young guys achieve this kind of success! I wish I was half as smart as these guys when I was that age! Keep grinding, Alan! No doubt you will be nationwide before long!
I think this video displays that their course will have significant information that will just ultimately save you possibly “endless” hours of taking your established solo gig and transforming it into a company efficiently and swiftly. I’m def gonna bookmark this video and their course.
very organized, very reputable business model overall. i am impressed,. However, IMO hiring detailers as independent contractors with no insurance or benefits to do a detail and receive a 30% commisiion is basically undermining the potential of and individual detailers wealth. considering im an owner operator, and charge essentially the same price, i make three times more that these commisioned detailers, and im not in a rush to get cars in and out either. i can spend a lot more time giving my clients thourough and meticulous results imstead of trying to rush through 3 vehicles a day to make $300 at a 30% commission rate. i agree about the googlr my business route is perfect for detailers
This has always been my argument to other detailers. Although, I would love to see a mobile detailing company scale nationwide. I don’t think it is doable. Mainly because of finding high quality detailers who are reliable and care about quality over quantity. It is like finding a needle in haystack. They are out there, but most are running their own business or working in a shop. Not working in the harsh weather conditions.
that is exactly why I started detailing on my own. I can make 3 times as much working for myself while doing the same job as working for somebody else. detailing is hard work. especially hard to do a standout job very quickly. that's why a lot of detail shops put out sub par work. all their employees work super hard and are always under the gun on time. I can spend a lot more time on my customers details and put out an amazing product and make great money. The hardest part is stability.
Woah there, young skipper. $75k per month (on the high end, so not a conservative estimate) - 60% profit = $30k for materials, equipment and labor, including $3.5k for marketing. Is the commission not included in the total? Something is not right using the numbers you gave for paying your people ($1500-2500 every two weeks from commission and tips, no hourly). $30k split between 18 people is less than $2k PER MONTH.... So either your people must be racking in the tips, you don't really know or didn't say the true numbers, or your business is hemorrhaging money...
I'd love for him to address this. I love how this is the only comment UPFLIP and the detail business HAVEN'T answered in the comments. the silence is extremely telling. CRICKETS CRICKETS CRICKETS..................
Hear me out...they’re lying. I’m al for promoting business I have a mobile detail business myself but 75k a month? You couldn’t pick a more realistic number?
@@1pimpguy it depends on location. He lives in an area where the cost of living is actually high. Therefore, it is definitely possible. I don’t think people factor in certain things like location when they make certain comments. In places like NYC and LA and Portland are high cost of living places. Now if he was down south in a town like mine, it would definitely be unrealistic. It would be a lot less than that because no one is going to pay a high price for detailing because the cost of living is way cheaper.
Alan's always killing it. He's helped me out with my business more than I can explain. Tips & tricks you'd never think of or find on youtube... His coaching program is absolutely worth it!

I am trying to get to this level. Once i get to this level I want to open a new business which is security. I love watching you guys, I am always getting inspired watching you guys!
$75,000 x 60% is $45000. So $35000 covers 18 employees, trucks, chemicals, advertising, insurance, rent. Etc. To put that into perspective, 18 people making just $3000/mo is $54000. So either everyone's making $1000/mo, or profits are closer to 10%
This only applies to countries like U.S since water is there cheaper than in most parts of europe etc. Also the supply and accomodation for washing the cars in there costs here minimum 1.5k monthly. So idk whats this 500 starters money about but for U.S its cool. For us here we need more professional business plan where everything is expensive and super high taxes.

60% profit? Gross or Net? he said off the Bat 33% goes to labour , if you add office, marketing, chemicals & supplies, gas, How is that 7%? , even if you pay your office people 18 dollars an hour x 8 hours x 4 guys times 5 days a week = is $150K minimum, we didn't include over time or underproduction from time off and sick time. lol

1 or 2 car a day and thinking about going big? God, I was thinking like 5-6. Here where I live shops do a lot of cars a day with typically only 2 people. And non of them are super-duper rich
I love seeing people create businesses out of a passion. Having done that with my channel, it’s possible if you can find a niche and what you’re good at!
Has anyone ever claimed that you scratched their car or any damage to a car before while detailing one ? The only thing I worry about before starting a detailing business
REASONS WHY I DID NOT, buy the course. 1. Webpage did not mention training on car exteriors. 2. Webpage did not mention handling of finances. 3. No thorough overview video regarding value I get. Watch free YT videos or purchase your program.
Click bait.. Numbers dont add up. Self advertising to make online course sales just like all other scam business proposals. This business model may be selfsustaining but the profits you claim isn't hard to add up with all the specifics you give and the percentage of profits is all smoke..example # of employees, maintenance, gear and chemicals, advertisements, etc.
Can't overstate how important having the right perspective is! Passion and hard work will only get you so far, you have to also know where you're headed and how you plan on getting there.

Not sure id let anyone near my car if they are not using foam and getting the surface wet first I will need to look at that solution that was mentioned which i would guess is great for dusty cars as long as they are not too dirty.
60% profit margin? Can you help me understand this? 30% commission. How is your business able to grow and maintain off 10%? Also, how are people happy working for 30%? Before I started my company I was managing a friends company. He gave me 50% and our prices were comparable at an average of 90$/hr shop rate reference. I was making about 30/hr at end of day. 2-3 cars a day. And I was overworking myself to obtain that 30/hr. My question is how do you spin this?
@@UpFlip No, I previously owned a mortgage brokerage. For the last almost seven years I own a Software as a Service (SaaS) company. Very much a systems guy myself.
"Alans" "online academy" is a total scam. Called the detailing number and spoke with 3 "different" people who were all alan using different names with the same sounding voice and ended the call with "appreciate you."
I love this guy's business approach and acumen but I have some serious issues with his detailing methods. You NEED the soaps and chemicals as lubricants when you wash. He is also using quick clay bar which shouldn't be used often and although it leaves a glass like finish it is a micro abrasive that overtime and with overuse, it will just leave more imperfections. Also, the de ionized water alone should have fixed the water spotting problems. This is a great business model but the claim of being 40% faster than the competition is not impressive after finding out the process.
Instead of creating your own detailing app there are software specifically for detailers that he should look into……mobile tech rx for mobile detailing and RoadFS for the dealerships 👍🏾
Quick question. What do you do if you show up to detail/wash a customer car at a specific time and place and they are not there or are late by a significant amount of time, is there a charge for that?
What I’m thinking is if he’s no longer using foam cannons then he’s realistically only needing to fill up 3 buckets of water. 2 for he body one for the wheels. O.N.R. Is a waterless wash. So that also can be how he’s been able to expedite his details.
You can tell the customer that the detail cost would go up significantly if they would like us to come back with gallons of our own water because that would make our auto insurance go up, we would charge for water delivery, and liability. Always say it is an option and name a ridiculous price, if they say yes, then you have to go get the water cause the price would be worth it lol, and if they say no then hey, no harm no foul.
60% profit margin does not sound right. 30% go straight to the detail people for hire. Plus material cost, business property cost, other employees, marketing, insurance, etc all that in 10%?
I watched some of this video do I get a tip? A job that thinks that would require a customer to give a tip thinks the customers need to pay them more because they keep the price low
Thanks for the question Borys. 😀👍Both can be very effective when advertising on a local level. Facebook, is most effective when ads are set up properly and flow in the correct algorithm while google makes it easier for people to locate your business when they are looking for on the spot service. What type of advertising have you used so far?
Some of these videos are great but the ones like these are just infomercials and a waste of time. Anyone that is trying to sell you a program filled with thing you can find for free is a scammer.
Does your location matter at all for the course?? Im in canada so idk if some of the content will fail to translate to where i am. Im considering buying so please answer that question.
I don’t think going national is possible people will soon realize that they will want to keep the money for themselves and then leave your company and start their own and now you will have more competition
So, five hundred can get you a lot as far as starting equipment, but I wouldn't start without a Llc, whatever local business license, and at least shop keeper's insurance. You get out there and scratch or otherwise damage a car, you will seriously regret not having those.
