I want to thank you for posting this video. This is a very simple and thorough explanation of how to become successful in this avenue of extra income. You are an answered prayer..
Hey! I’ve been doing decals since 2014 as well! I recommend you get a glass sheet instead of a cutting mat.. it lasts basically indefinitely and looks really nice on a table.
I’ll have to show that sometime! I package in long boxes. The vinyl is rolled up and secured with a cute band and instruction sheet. For smaller decals I put them in flat mailers.
Love your videos and channel! Keep killing it! Quick question, I’m on the fence between the uscutter vs the Titan. Does the Uscutter suck on large prints? Is this why you upgraded?
My MH cutter is an entry level cutter that I've had since 2014 and it's still going strong! I run it for hours a day. I've had to replace a few parts over the years, but I've been really happy with it (considering the low price!). I have another MH that keeps on going too. I got the Titan to upgrade and last long too.. although I don't even know if that was necessary because it performs just as well as the MH. The titan feels more sturdier and heavy duty and can handle different materials.
hey at home pixels ! I need recommendations for good quality vinyls that can be used in videogame consoles. Anything that would not damage the console and can be easily detached.
I was looking at cutters. Do you recommend a 34” or the 28” Is it worth stressing over a 34”? I was looking at the heat press nations edge 28” or the us cutter 34” u have. The edge contour cuts.l which I’m not sure I’ll really need but over all the edge is a better cutter by the reviews I’m reading.
You can use a Cricut. The only limitation on Cricut is the size. almost up to 120" wide and as long I think as 24" I have done a few and I keep it about 11.5 wide so it stays within the margins. There are a ton of how too's here on youtube for the Cricut and decals. Good Luck.
Did you have a following before you started or no one knew you when you started? Since you said you made it all back in a month. Just wondering since I have no presence online. XD
Yes! I run it on both a mac and a pc. I runs better on my pc though. On the mac, it will pause a cut if I go to another program during a cut. Once I go back to SCAL, it continues its cut.
Vinyl decals are basically stickers. For walls or any smooth surface at all. Car windows, wood, glassware... anything. You buy different color rolls of vinyl (the plastic ish material that the stickers are made of) and the stickers will be cut by the machine
Well you will need a machine which is around 200-300 dollars I recommend a crochet or silhouette I also recommend getting a starter pack with vinyl tools and the machine on amazon!
