Many male dancers (or leaders) in tango I see, mostly seem to be musical in terms of rhythmic movement, but don't seem to ''hear'' all the melodic parts of tango songs that require a different, more fluid, slower, and more ''paused'' interpretation of what's going on in the music.
In this video, I use the example of a great viejo milonguero, El Chino Perico, to show how these melodies can be danced more consciously. Being able to dance like this should be part of the skillset of every ambitious tango dancer.
