We read the composition from right to left. So fof^-1 means: first apply f^-1 and then f.

@@brightsideofmaths One of his other uploads somehow popped up in my feed and what surprised me about the channel was the number of subs he had, especially considering the number of high-quality videos he had and the rate at which he uploaded them (he _joined_ youtube a few months ago). Then I found one of your videos there which is when I decided to let you know about it
