We have actually many kinds of pierniki in Poland, for example covered in chocolate with plum filling 😁 I'm glad you liked them! Have a good day 😊

@@LinnainJapan I hope you will find another Polish sweets and confectionery in Japan. Let try to bake Polish cakes: karpatka, mazurek (mostly for Easter but it doesn`t matter), makowiec, miodownik (Russian origin but in Poland we love that cake) and sękacz (probably the most difficult 😅)

Hi Linna!Your quiche looked so good. I recommend you pre bake it..that way the crust will be perfect when you have baked the quiche.Also it's a great thing to make using all kinds of leftovers.. throw leftovers in and cover with the egg mixture..turns out delicious every time!!😊

Around the holidays, I get a little down, but, for me, it's because they bring back old memories, from when my husband celebrated them with me & our one Christmas with our baby daughter. It's an exciting time, but a little down time too. I think you did so well, cooking the quiche and doing so many other things. The Advent houses turned out so cute again, this year, as well. I put my Christmas tree up today which took a lot of effort as it's my first Christmas alone and I've been ill all year with my mental health conditions. But my dog gets spoiled and I got him an advent calendar and put the tree up for him too even if he doesn't understand.❤

Hi Linna, Your quiche looks delicious! I make them often. But it's better to pre bake the bottom, so it's well baked after you put the rest of your ingredients in. You can use all kinds of ingredients. Your leftovers from previous dinners or fresh ingredients. Anything goes. I'm sorry you're feeling a bit low. Here in the Netherlands, I have the same. Especially when it's wintertime. That's why I use a daylight lamp to get enough LUX so I feel mentally better. Your advent calendar looks so cute, I know for sure the boys will love it! Especially the special presents you wrote down. I don't comment often, but I watch all your video's. Can I sent you some Dutch gifts via the postman? I know you love stroopwafels. Hello Linna , i hope you are doing well.The quiche (not quinche, this is a French tart very famous around the world now and so easy to do) is perfect.The mustard pots are beautiful and so is the bag.The mustard keeps for a long time in the fridge once opened.I like your version of pot au feu with pork. am English Canadian - quiche has always been regular part of my meal planning - later in life I have become wheat / dairy intolerant - with careful alterations have started making “crustless quiche” - there is a gluten free frozen pie crust that when I can find it makes an incredible quiche - next time it’s in stock I’ll buy several - what we do for our favourite foods 🇨🇦🙏

Hello! You can preserve the beautiful flower from your son. Just pop the flower off the stem and place it between 2 slices of parchment paper. Put it in between pages of a big and heavy book. After around 1 month it will be dry and you will have it forever!❤️❤️ I did this with one of my wedding flowers. After it dried I laminated it and now have it forever (26 years and counting)!

We love quiche, if you have the basic egg mix you can put so many things in. Also leftover things like kakuni (drain the sauce) or teriyaki chicken. I made one with a tofu sauce and kabocha that my daughter loved. For the bottom you can bake it blind first before adding filling. The house advent calender in the store was lovely but so big. You need to store it somewhere hust to use in the December month😅I like your small houses as well. I've but mine in a basket this year. Usually I string the presents up on a wreath but didn't have time this year. I got some small presents in Tokyo this summer that I kept for this purpose, things like a cute hair tie and such. nd some snacks and stickers. We have those same socks! My daughter got them from my Japanese host mother about 6 years ago.

To fix soggy quiche bottom: poke the bottom with fork and cook 10-15 min first and then put the filling in and bake the whole thing. But the top looked really yum! Hope you feel better Linna 💞💞💞

I'm feeling a bit down myself. Been stuck in the house for over a week. It's cool and damp outside. I have nothing to do in the garden, but to check on my greens. They are growing slow. Tomorrow's weather is supposed to be sunny and warmer. I hope so. Both my greens and myself need a dose of 🌞.

Greetings Linna!! ❄️👱‍♀️🎄 I love the idea of the reusable advent boxes! A lot of the advent calendars are disposable and to me seem such a waste! And this way you could fill them with whatever treats you choose! Also enjoyed watching the quiche as it is something I have tried myself. How did everyone like it? Hi Linna, you can also not pre-cook the quiche dough if you brush it evenly with melted butter on the bottom and edge before adding the egg liquid. The melted butter seals the dough from the liquid, so the quiche crust will be well cooked and crunchy.

If you dry the flowers out and spray them with hair spray, they will last a long time. I was wondering, do you ever make grilled cheese sandwiches? With processed American cheese? I like them with Campbell's tomato soup. It's the best lunch! And easy! I really enjoy watching 👀 your videos!

The Dijon mustard is STRONG!! Literally strong!! Just a little bit like a half tsp is overpowering & dominant....I tried using it once & the Dijon mustard was all could be tasted.

Hello Linna! Happy December 😊 I have started my seasonal job at my local mall selling chocolates. It's a very boring job, but it is easy and exactly what I need. I am saving up so I can buy my family and friends lots of gifts for Christmas. I can't believe the end of the year is already here. Time has gone by so quickly, it is a little scary.
