I just want to say this has been💯 the best channels that helps grow a TikTok page, I followed everything you have said and grew my TikTok finance content to 73,000 followers in 7 weeks, thank you
Very interesting ideas. I’ll be working on some additional projects in the near future to see if I can get anything up and running. Thanks as always Joseph!
@@TheJosephTodd plzzz tell mee??Tik tok video posted but some person said that showing and some said not showing some said that only one video showing can u tell me how problem solved??🙁🙁
Hey Joseph. Just wana say, you’ve really helped me. I was playing around with tik tok.. finally decided to take it seriously and follow your advice. Not even a month, 30k followers. I’m averaging 50k views per video. Your content is amazing.
I’ve noticed recently that my views have dropped to basically nothing in the past few days.. I was averaging 15k-20k views and on my pinned 500k videos I constantly was getting engagement but not I’m struggling to get 200 views and any engagement on past videos. I am a nail artist and I post my work. I’ve noticed that my fyp has also changed. I’m getting specifically smaller viewed nail videos mainly, or just smaller viewed content in general instead of viral videos. I’m so frustrated because I thought I finally got it down :/
I'm surprised this video doesn't have way more views.. For people with creative blocks these are genuinely really great ideas most people could execute on!
with RU-vid Shorts i started doing some Spot The Difference vids which are kinda like iSpy and they all get INSANE retention but only a few of them get insane views Edit: I commented this before I saw the last channel idea lmao
I love your videos, you always come with new advices. Too bad people I recommended your channel doesn't want to learn more about how tiktok works, even if they are the ones complaining about their low views. Your videos helped me grow from 200k followers to 1.2million.
That means a lot, thank you. Hey, not everyone's a fan of everything, right? Sounds you've made some solid progress on TikTok. What the handle? Would love to follow. :)
I love how your vids have the zoom in or whatever it’s called when you hear the swoosh sound. Very smooth. What’s that zoom or transition called? I use Filmora.
You bet, thanks for stopping by! The program is linked in the description, though I'd recommend having at least 20 TikTok uploads under your belt before enrolling. Some of the stratagies we talk about in our private group can over new creator's heads if they're not already familiar with the platform's basics. I'm currently in the process of updating the entire course content library, so stay tuned for a whole new influx of videos.
Document your adventures picking up/chatting with customers! Blur their faces if you have to, or ask their permission. Talk about your finances, stops, problems, and costs. People like details.
Hey love your content, I have a question. I'm in the superhero/film niche and there is this video format going around where you take a clip or a interesting picture and record yourself talking about it or explaining it with text. I have been trying this but finding no success while other people are getting 100k views plus each video. Should I just keep going until it work or just forget it and try something else? Thanks.
Hey Jo even though I watched your video where you talk all about geolocations with TikTok, what are the odds like as of now to reach US audience with just a VPN and no-sim? And also I don't think you've talked about the effectiveness of using Android emulators on that video, there's an idea to make a new vid on.
I'll have to look into the Andriod emulators for sure. I've only every used Apple, so I'll have to do some asking around. As for your questions, to have success without a SIM is very rare. VPNs are terribly finicky, and I never count on them long-term. But, I do occasionally speak to creators who are using them successfully (mostly in France or Germany). Keep in mind TikTok does natively distribute your content by itself, it just takes a little while for that to happen.
Did an “I spy” thing regarding wildlife since I’m a wildlife photographer. Started the video titled “spot the Bald eagle” and in one hour it’s almost at 10K. As a wildlife photographer getting views is tough and this type of video gives viewers an idea of how good of an eye we have to have to spot wildlife that’s evolved to be well hidden.
That's actually quite clever - nice going! I agree, creators to often neglect giving their viewers a way to actively participate in the video at hand. Most are using to simple passive consumption, and being the video to break the mold is often a great way to gain new fans. Let me know how it goes!
@@TheJosephTodd It's been going well! My channel has been struggling with views and after posting 3 of those "find the wildlife" videos I've garnered a total of about 16K views. It's something I'll do as a viewer engagement piece!
@@NickBoris1 Yeah, definitely keep threading that needle along. If I were to bet, I'd say those videos would do best bite-sized in length, but try some longer ones as well. May even try throwing in a few more objects to find throughout the video just to keep the focus of the viewer engaged in different actives.
I have a question. When do we know its time to change to different niches? I'm doing POV skits. 3 uploads per week and getting minimal views and next to 0 followers.
Hey, Todd great video! I have grown to 200k in the past two months on TikTok. I have been grabbing over 100k views every video and everything seemed to be going well. I live in the states but my account really took off when I went to the UAE/DUBAI for vacation. My content suddenly went out to the UK and all over the globe which never seemed to happen in the states. I have recently arrived back in the states and have seen a massive drop in the videos. My storytelling style and content haven't changed but there has been a massive drop. I'm getting the majority of views from the following and not FYP. I feel as since I live in Texas my content is not appealing much again. I want to get a sim card but I don't want to start over...what should I do?
That's really common when your account authority sort of resets when you change geos (travel out and back to your hometown) and your viewership drops. This is one of the flaws of the TikTok FYP algorithm that they need to change when global travel starts again
Well assuming you haven't changed anything thematic in your content (topics, themes, opinions, etc), I'd be really curious if you switched anything up technically when you traveled (like accessing your TikTok from another device, changing SIM cards, or using all the local WiFi). In some cases, this view-deficit due to traveling resolves itself. So, short term, I'd wait a few weeks. Alternatively, I would doubly make sure that the way you have your current US device setup is identical to when you created the account - TikTok does not like changes here. I don't think you have to start over. It could very well be that you amassed a forign audience while traveling and since you're no longer engaging them significantly, TikTok is viewing that overall lack of engagment as a reason for not pushing your content to new viewers. I might try and recreate your best performing videos in an attempt to reach more of those that followed you in the first place - see if that improves anything. Thanks for watching!
@@TheJosephTodd I had the same experience just the other way round. Based in Indonesia, I started out with a german account.. for weeks I would get like 5-20 views per video, I thought I go crazy. Then I started using a vpn and a german simcard for uploading. Boom. It finally took off.
Your videos help out alot man, I'm a TikTok creator with 2M still trying to figure out the algorithim and good content niche to this day lol. One question, do you plan to make any videos about the RU-vid Shorts algorithim? Tikory!
That means a lot, thank you friend. I don't plan on branching out with discussion on RU-vid shorts anytime soon, though I'll be uploading some shorts to this channel real soon. RU-vid shorts are a really good medium for additional exposure. I know a lot of creators that'll share their best-perfoming TIkTok's to Shorts and Reels just because they can - which isn't a bad idea if you have the time.
Hello Joseph, first of all great content! I started my Tiktok account 1.5 months ago and it is doing pretty well. I am now on 200k followers and the growth is insane. But after 2 weeks i started to look for the creator fund. Sadly i couldn’t find any information about it. Then i discovered that there is no creator fund in my country (The Netherlands) yet. I saw your video from a couple of months ago where you discussed the creator fund and told about it. Do you have any new information about the creators fund, for example in which countries they going to expand it?
Thanks for the kind words, man! I'm afraid I don't have a lot of information on TikTok's expanding locations for the Creator Fund. I do know that is dependent on adding more available funds to the Fund, so I guess whenever TikTok gets around to adding to their bank. I'll be sure you update you all as soon I get word. :)
could you do a video one what to do when you’ve had content blow up before now you’re low on views? including with the link between under review content everytime you post?
I started tiktok about a year ago, and in a few months I had grown to over 200k followers, but then I joined the creator fund and all my views went away, now I’m coming back to tiktok and this time I won’t join the creator fund.
Great information Joseph! I have the same name. I am an actual Q&A startup and started on tiktok five days ago. I get about 250-300 views and trying to come up with creative ways for people to answer questions. My business idea came from Wix's forum and not Tiktok. I feel like the Q&A on tiktok is bread and butter to my forum site if I figure it out over time. Your ideas are great! This is going to be one long journey but I do love it. Cheers.
Perhaps technically, yes. I guess I was think more along the blue-collar line of work. Not necessary an "education-focused" account but one that is more an over-the-shoulder look at what you do. That's where a lot of the internet gurus often blur the lines.
Hi I have a question which has been stressing me out for ages. I am under the age of 18, however my account is set to over the age of 18. Due to this, a while back I somehow joined the tiktok creator next program, without even clicking anything, and only going onto the page about it. Then I got eligibility to earn video gifts. I have received video gifts aswell. However I have come to realisation that because I am under the age of 18, I may be punished for being in the tiktok creator next program, and earning video gifts. What I want to do is leave the tiktok creator next, and explain that what my actual age is, and wait until I am actually 18, so that I can join the creator next program, however I am really scared about this, as I have around 250k followers, and I don't want to lose them. Please can u give me some advice on how to fix this issue without being punished for recieving gifts/ being part of the creator next program, whilst being under 18 :) Thanks
I accidentally signed in for creator next and now my views dropped like a lot and I can’t go back to normal. Normally I had over 1000-10000 views per video and now I can’t even reach 200. I don’t know what to do. I don’t want to give up the account because I reached over a million likes & 6k followers but it doesn’t make sense to keep uploading if it doesn’t reach anyone. Does anyone have an idea how to fix it? I would appreciate it.
Hey Joseph! I started a podcast called Locker Room Talk and really like your interview style idea and I think it fits my account really well. Im having trouble finding ways to gamify it any thoughts?
Hello. I am a human rights activist and Tiktok keeps removing my videos as soon as they hit over 15k views. They cite different reasons but I know it is because I criticize Israel, China, colonialism, Islamaphobia. What do you recommend I do to keep creating content, not compromise my values, but also not get shut down
Tik tok video posted but some person said that showing and some said not showing some said that only one video showing can u tell me how problem solved??🙁🙁
Hi! I need help! My last 3 videos went viral few days ago, one of these is considered "dangerous activity" but has not been removed. After this I noticed a drop of views, what should I do? Should I remove that "dangerous" viral video or should I wait?
Hey Joseph! Amazing content! I am going to enroll in your course by this weekend, but wanted to schedule a consultation first to go over strategies and a plan of how to go about my new endeavor with a bang! I haven't posted any videos yet, I need your input from the very beginning even on my username. Would you suggest booking with you now, or buying the course first, making some videos, implementing your course, and then meeting with you? Do you offer discount for one on ones for your students? thanks!
Hey Marlissa, thanks for the kind words! I appreciate you watching. To answer your inquiry, I'd probably recommend scheduling a consulting call first if you're just starting out. Some of the conversations we have in our course community group are a bit advanced, so it'd likely be best to chat about your goals and content ideas over a call first to iron any wrinkles out and establish clarity with strategy before you start giving us updates in the course group. Either way, best of luck with the TikTok ventures!
Good question! I'll be talking about something similar in a few upcoming videos. In general, you've got to create good trajectory (direction) in the artistic videos. People need to know why it's worth their time - what are they looking forward to? A showcase of talent is good, but what's in it for them, you know?
I have an off topic question! My niche is lipsyncing comedians. But now for some reason half my sounds are being taken down from tiktok with sounds from Tom Segura and Fluffy. Why is this happening and what can I do to fix it?
Chances are that you're speaking English in your content. TikTok rarely just chooses one country for any given language. UK audineces seeing your content actually is quite normal. Are you using any UK-related tags/topics in your videos?
Hi Joseph, this isn’t really related but TikTok seems to have an issue with deleting comments on your own video after a user blocks you. You’re not able to delete the comment because you can’t see it but it shows up publicly on your video. Do you know if TikTok knows of a way to solve it?
What vid resolution do you use to upload to Instagram? My 9:16 vids (which is what I upload to tik tok) are getting cropped on IG too much. btw I'm digging tik tok. 😀 Thanks again for all your help!
I started a movie and tv show one. It’s doing great I even joined the creator fund. However my views decreased tremendously. Also, I have £80 in the creator fun but the money doesn’t show up on the income+. Can anyone help please
Hey Joseph I got a question I have a account with all the things needed to join the creator fund but it’s says county invalid even though I live in the uk please can u reply to this comment Thanks ❤️
Hey, hope you're well! Currently, I don't any special offers no. I do have a lot of creators who schedule calls in bulk (like 3 at a time) because I often end up raising my hourly rate due to high demand or low availability of my time. We're usually able to cover everything on one call though, at least give enough direction to take some significant action steps over the coming weeks.
Focus on one sport. I'm a football fan myself, and not one that much of basketball. Too much disparity between multiple sports and you're audience will be split.
@@TheJosephTodd more yt vids on how to make better videos on tiktok and build an amazing fan base that loves your content like how to do that, love your content bro!
SOMEONE PLZ HELP. I am uploading 2-3 videos daily from last 2 months and still my views are stuck to 30-40 cap. Also my followers are still below 200. Is it normal ???
Whats good bro, I bought a consulting session from you a while ago! I have a Tiktok account on my english phone (in england) and I have another account for me logged in in america on an american phone. My English videos gets 10s thousands of views and I download my videos via snaptik, send them to my American phone in america and upload them yet they get no views at all. So i assume Tik tok sees that as bad doings and doesnt reward that behaviour as its technically the same video. I tried running it through a MD5 hash to change the ID of the video but it still didnt do anything. I did a test by making an original video and uploading it and it got a bunch of views. Anyone know any ways round to do this?
Please my tiktok account get banned since I open the new account with the same phone I don’t get view or like if someone follows me I don’t see it please I really need your help please
@@TraderCat Hmm...it's hard to give specfic recommendations without knowning specifics. In general, it's usually due to using blacklisted audio, banned tags, or some form of an indirect community violation. I would look closer into the last video that got a significant For You ratio and try to pinpoint what trigger was involved in that downhill event.
@@TheJosephTodd Thanks for the reply & suggestion. The video on ban was great its just a little outdated. I deleted the first video that went wrong. Its been 2 week and counting but theres no sign still. Had a really good metrics video that goes to 5k but checked its still liked/commented by followers only and somehow 10% fyp stat.
Good point, or maybe most don't take action and only the committed achieve the great milestones. Just because everyone knows where the gold is dosen't mean everyone's a miner overnight - there's lot of ambition and drive involved and some will always do better than others.
@@TheJosephTodd totally agree that the driven ones are likely to stay in the game, but I also wonder if the creator exchange platform is going to sift out between the committed ones or not (as defined by TikTok's algorithm) and surface that to brands. Lots of creative minds on TikTok tbh and brands can have a wide breadth of execution, but it can get really overwhelming to filter out those that create the most brand engagement
TikTok is a different game than RU-vid. I usually don't like focusing on the numbers. If you take a look at some of the examples in the video, you'll see multiple example of creators scaling these ideas to 10M+, so they definitely have that kind of crazy potential. Thanks for watching!
The funny thing is that I make videos where I ask Riddles on Omegle and get the funny answers and it seems like it's working thanks for the validation lol
