I’m a 52 year old from Tasmania, Australia 🇦🇺 who knows zero about corn farming, I stumbled across a video about doing up a mansion. I’m into reno’s so I thought I’d give it a watch. I’ve been addicted ever since. You have a beautiful family and I look forward to seeing what everyone’s been up to and what’s going on on the farm. I’m so proud of you and the whole fam, you guys have achieved so much despite everything that’s gone wrong. I cried along with you today and just wanted to give you a big hug. Well Cole, I have just binge watched all 148 episodes of you and your family transform your/Grampa's farm. What an amazing journey you have taken me on! Starting with your vision of where you wanted to take the farm, to bringing it all to fruition. I had no idea of what it took to run a big farming operation like yours and I learned so much! Thank you for all that you did to provide those of us who needed/wanted to learn/know this. Watching you sort, organize, move, dig, fill, transport, create and build has made me wish I was 45 yrs younger and nearby to have helped in making your dream come true. Alas, however I have had to live vicariously through your clips and cheer along with each and every accomplishment. You are a testament of what the power of an idea, hard work and dedication can achieve. And achieve you have! As I watched your last emotional video of the completion of massive project you undertook, wishing your Grampa was there to see it all - He was. He was with you every step of the way, Cole. Your passion for farming, your joy of the day, your vision of the future were all due to your Grampa's influence on you. That you have transformed, and continued farming, what he has given to you is the most precious way honor your Grampa. Dang it Cole, you've got me over here bawling my eyes out right along with you. I know those tears are a mixture of joy and happiness, some pride, along with sorrow and grief. You guys did good. There is not an ounce of doubt in anyone's mind that you, your dad, Cooper, and the rest of the family have made your grandpa so unbelievably proud. I promise you... he is right there with you, everyday, and he's smiling with the most beautiful and proud smile that you could ever imagine. I know that it doesn't put him there, physically, with you, and nothing could ever make that happen or take away the sadness that you feel with him not being there... But his love and his spirit is wrapped around you all with an embrace of pure love and happiness. I know that my grandfather watches over me and each day I do all I can to uphold what he taught me. Your grandfather passed onto you and your family a foundation on which to grow, that my brother is something to be proud of and watching your updates along the way have filled all of us with hope. All to often we forget where we came from and a man without a history is lost to roam aimlessly. You have taken a massive leap of faith and that is because you have that foundation and history to learn from. You know your grandfather Was watching the whole building project. There was not any big accidents to people were there ? I believe he was watching and being a guardian angel too. You all know he IS so extremely proud of you all. ❤

Great job Cole and family! Your grandfather would be very proud of everything you have done to the farm since his passing. You are an inspiration for your generation of farmers. You have taken the greatest profession in America and put your stamp on it. I lost my dad this past June and I am carrying on a profession that he did for 25 plus years so I understand carrying the torch.

Congratulations to The Cornstar Family!! You are the nicest family and your all deserve this beautiful farm. I tear up Everytime I see you do a grave. I've never seen such respect given to the families of the deceased. I buried my only son five years ago this coming February and it was the hardest thing I've ever done. Thank you all for your respect . Cole I'm looking forward to see the work continue on your house. I love the house. To all the Cornstar Family, thank you for the videos! You all are the first video's I started watching and that's when Cole was cleaning out the house.

You are the next generation of Colestar Farms. Unless you've lived the life and seen first hand the hope, agony and pain your Grandfather and Father experienced building a solid foundation for better life for their children, you will never understand Cole's emotion. Keep your head up, Cole. Your are fortunate that your Grandfather and Father have laid out the plans for you and your brother to move forward into the scary and always changing new world of being an independent American farmer. As the video was playing, your Grandfather, who I obviously never knew, sprang to mind many times. How happy he would be to see you all pull together to have the farm move forward in such a major way. None of you sit around and feel sorry for yourselves. You try and make the best decisions and work very very hard. Your heartfelt sentiments are a credit to you as a man!
