I got it! I entered my activation code and it worked, but when I tried to activate my recovery code it failed

If your printer doesn't show up, then the chipless firmware was not installed correctly

Are you connected via usb?

@@CustomDesignPress yes I am. It stops at 71%, xp15000 screen says updating firmware. printer will restart after. Yet it still stays at 71% saying "waiting for printer to restart". I can let it sit for hours and won't do anything. I've contacted inkchip support 4 days ago with no answer, their forum is no answer. I really don't understand nor know what I do at this point. felt like I wasted money...

@@CustomDesignPress I restart the printer and the notification comes up that says the updated failed and the bar jumps up to 80%. In the videos I watched it seems normal so I'm like GREAT! then I go to activate it I get an error that says "please wait for update to be finished". I also have this posted in the DTF Beginners FB group for a couple of hours with no response. So I guess I'm the only one with this issue and can't figure out why. If it's easier to communicate there, the post should be close to top with pictures.

@@lowlife_rabbit_mk2 so the wait till it updates is the activation tool. If you close out and start it again it should stay open for you to put the code in

Probably need to turn off your firewall during the install

Me neither I can’t get my printer to show I think cause my pro surface don’t have usb to connect the printer have you fixed your problem
