Maybe it's not exactly Techno but I took a lot of influence from Techno tracks on this one. Call it what you want it. *If you want to remix this track* and get a chance to win over *$2000 in prizes* then *join the remix contest here* : ➜ www.waproduction.com/contests/arcade-remix-contest
I always get the "This is NOT TECHNO" comments everytime I make a Techno Tutorial, but it's ok! there are a lot of Techno styles and sub genres. The thing is to keep learning and its well made. This is both. A quick tip: For that kind of ducking I recommend Love philter instead of grossbeat, gives more options and it´s easier to setup and make your own ducking preset.
Amazing track Arcade. excellent tutorial, Techno no Techno when people are on the dance floor they don't care about names they care about the vibe and this one is sick.
Hey everyone, I didn't manage to finish the remix in time to submit it for the contest, but if you want to listen to it regardless, here it is :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KPSVOvDCEZk.html
I always think in term of "elements". This track I would classify as progressive house with techno elements (or viceversa, lol). As you mention there's also usually trance elements in this type of tunes, or even EDM! But again I suggest not to crack your head trying to strictly pigeonhole electronic/dance music in genres ans subgenres: much of the fun is to mix and match and come up with hybrids/eclectic tunes. Another good advice is to play with filter automation/volume levels all the time: morphing and evolving mixes is something that still could be more exploited in electronic music production. Ps: love the retroish vibe of the "big synth" melody, very classic, like nineties trance/eurotrance classic!
Mr. Arcade, how will I remix your song? Every stem is more than 3 minutes. And if I remix your banger in my style keeping the chord progression same, if there is any problem? Or if I use different sounds? Btw, I like your videos cuz you make us understand in every single detail!
