Lucas and Ileana both grew up in farming families, but initially pursued different careers. After they reconnected years later, they started their family in the Kansas City area.
They became passionate about knowing where their food came, and sought to take control of their family's food production.
This passion led them to regenerative agriculture - rebuilding soils, ecosystems, and communities through farming practices that improve water filtration, drought tolerance, carbon sequestration, local economies, and health.
