I had a rare beast, a 1983 Civic Sport, front end of an Accord nailed to the Civic body, metallic black paint with fiery red highlighting and a very sporty dash with dials from a Prelude. Fast little thing too with a 1300 motor and 5 speed box, very nippy and amazing cornering motor being little bigger than a Austin Metro and had sports seats. Part of it lingers on today, the red seatbelts are now fitted to my Reliant Robin van to go with the grey and red interior.
seat belts become less effective with age and most manufacturer's recommend changing them every 15 years at the latest. definitely do not transplant 40 year old ones into newer cars
The stickers, seat covers and stereo....this car was somebody's pride and joy back in the day. 😎 And the famous CVCC engine! Awesome! Good job, Flexiny!
I currently have a 2020 Honda Civic with over 80,000 miles. Darn thing has given me zero issues and runs even better than it was new. The Japanese truly know how to make vehicles that last.
@@frenzyneering yep a 44 year old car left outside, what do you expect. usually those are comments from someone driving something German or a Ford, they make those comments crying because those people are full of envy, or purely ignorant.
@@combustion1476hahhah, you're wrong, i'm driving megane 2 :). that's just the fact. in our climate, with tons of salt on the roads in winter, you can still see old european cars like passat b2, golf1-2, polo, audi 80-100, sierra, mb w123, w116. but you'll never see 25-30y old japaneese - all of them just rusted.
Хонда ⚡гдеб найти запчасти на хонду аккорд ca 5 слепую , вот бы хонда начала выпускать все запчасти ,салона кузова механики, на полное обновление совркменой класики 👍
You know, that's not a bad looking car. If they brought back a "retro" model with the same exterior but upgraded drivetrain and interior, it could sell.
79 Honda Civic hatchback awesome vehicle stick shift japanese cars is the best on the road never die good choice air tires the engine is condition best mechanic in the world friend keep bringing new videos
I remember when these were new. Cheapest Honda you could buy. Couple of my friends bought them. They were extremely spartan, no power anything. Kinda fun to run around in, very slow to accelerate. Definitely not a freeway cruiser. But hey, it was a new car.
Одометр (счётчик пройденного пути) шестиразрядный, крайний справа разряд выделен другим цветом - он считает сотни метров. Таким образом, пробег на одометре 80 тысяч 152 километра 200 метров. Другое дело, не известно по какому кругу:))
I am a Mercedes-Benz fan, but the Honda Civic will always have a place in my heart.........and my garage.🐞 I had a first gen Civic years ago, and it was fun to drive, reliable, economical, quick in 🐝traffic and just a good city car especially with the 'Hondamatic' transmission. They even came with aircondition as an option. Back in the 70's the Honda Civic swept the Mini off the road and within a few years the 'little Mini' was not to be seen except in scrapyards!🐸
Great little find. Stuck in the 80's with its boom box in the boot, shaggy seat covers, old stereo, not sure why the Mk III Escort rims though. This retro cool will fetch good money. 👍 😉💯🇬🇧
Well, it depends on who drove the car. It doesn't matter if it's a Honda, Toyota, if the car has been beaten up, not maintained, the mechanics will never last very long.
It's a good car ...got coupe got 4 door ... 4 cylinders , powerful engine and ECONOMIC ... 1979 a very popular car in Malaysia ...! 🎉*# Small and medium size like u.k , Japan , Asia
Awesome little car!! I had one of these as a rally car years ago! Unbelievable little thing, even though its previous owner did their best to kill it, it refused to give in 💪👍
What happens to all the cars you make video off? Most of those cars are in a such bad shape they would not pass inspection and would need a lot of work.
I would love to know this as well! My best bet is they sell the vehicles that are in bad shape to a scrapper or to someone else who wants them more than themselves.
I think they have a big piece of land, a farm or something and just leave them there, have fun with them and then scrap or sell them or just leave them to rot.
For real, my first car was a 1978 Civic 1200cc 4 speed manual. I loved that car...until I went to jump in it one winter and I went through the floor...😂😂😂
Was probably still running fine I assume? Damn Japanese cars and their bulletproof mechanics put into bodies made of wet paper. Had a '90 Mazda 323 1.7D, mechanics = bulletproof, everything worked like in a new car (400k km on the odo, who knows how much in reality) but body was on the edge of falling apart.
@@WymiataczPlays Oh yeah, it had a 1.2L four cylinder that made like 56 horsepower with a 4 speed manual with a big truck shifter and that car ran great, but I fell through the floor. It only had like 65,000 miles on it too.
How do you find all the cars man, you are so lucky if this world goes crazy and there will only be dumb electric vehicles, petrol and diesel cars will be rare, hopefully that won't be during my life time.
