@@isaacsrandomvideos667 Not true. My second car is a 2003 Honda Civic. No mention of rust on the MOT history at all yet! Underside and bodywork are rust free. I have seen a few German cars of similar age that have quite a bit of visible body rust present. As for the engine. With only 80k miles it's just run in.
@God Trojan Nonsense. How do you know that? He shows how the car has sunk into the ground over the years after its been removed from its resting spot. He also shows the part removed and they are dusty and dirty and are sometimes hard to get off, clearly been on that car for many years. Its a great channel and I love watching it.
Sounds like it has an issue with the throttle sensor, but, at least in typical Honda fashion, it just started right up once it had a new coil and some fuel, just can't kill a Honda... :D
From back when Honda ruled the world. I have a ‘92 Prelude that I just got back on the road and drove for the first time today. Fortunately no rust issues in my part of the world. Great video! Love the wheels (they would fit my Prelude) and front spoiled on this one.
i absolutely love how someone painted the guages and put little leds in the air vents. this car looks like someones late 90s summer fun box! love what was done to the front too.
Best car you've done on the channel.. thank you for starting and bringing this absolute gem of a car back to life 💪🏽 my most favourite Honda.. Mark 4 Honda Accord 😍🔥💯
This is the reason I Iove Hondas. They can be beaten into the ground and they would still run. The only real weak spot on these (at least the early 2000s ones) is the PCV hose that sometimes likes to dry rot and pinch shut but other than that they’re really faithful machines.
Good job young man, very talented in mechanics. You should enjoy that car now knowing it would have just wasted away if you hadn't rescued it. I like that body style back then. Sharp.
Don’t wanna be a dick but I think “JDM” is only for cars sold actually in Japan or something like that Or cars only sold in Japan. Japanese domestic market I think
When I was 4 years old my mom and dad had that same 92 accord sitting in the drive way, but they never drove it again because it had too many issues and yes we were really broke at the time and thats why my dad was a mechanic I guess, faded Maroon red and peeling paint. I wish they hadn't sold it because when I grow older I wanted to fix it and get it running again.
yeah funny thing I took a 98 civic fuel pump and rigged that bad boy into the fuel tank of my 91 accord. car's been sitting for 5 years, we got it 200 bucks. put new igniton key in fired right up.. blew alternator, replaced that, fi.. didn't fire right up. because the clutch damper broke. replaced that about 2 years later with a bypass kit then fuel pump broke. then the fuel filter clogged. replaced that and now it fires right up. (almost) never holds a charge even after idling for like 30 minutes. but i do have a size 34 battery used on a 454 from a tow truck. we killed it when trying to crank up a new 454 on the tow truck. but it kinda starts but runs.. well.. like a $1000 should but it was $200. recently the driver side motor mount busted so I gotta replace that soon. but Im 15 and it's a goodish starter car. also it looks like someone rammed a trailer into the front it's not all that bad just needs a new headlight and hood. and paintjob.
I have 89 Honda Accord, the last year of the third gen, it's such an awesome car! Only third and fourth gen that has Double Wishbone in all four wheels!
1992 Honda Accord awesome vehicle you can't not kill them run forever till wheels fall apart nerds battery stick shift four cylinder engine is good condition really love this video flexliy bless you keep it coming new stuff test drive for seven years long time Honda and Toyota for life
I had the same alloy wheels on my Peugeot 306 2.0 XSi Phase 1 car. Wish I still had that car it was fantastic! The centre covers and big nut are missing on each wheel of this Honda Accord though.
Many of the Accords sold in Canada (and there were LOTS of them), tended to end up like this one. Modified and rotten! 269,000km was considered almost like new here!
Hi from uk 👋👍 nice little accord this back in the day👍 I bet all 269k where enjoyed well 👌 wonder if auto choke was bit rough or vacuum leak maybe a sensor🤔and she needed that was after chewing the dirt of x5😂 but defo would of been a gem in the days 👌 thanks for your time and be safe see you soon👍👋
Hi, thanks! Some cars are not mine so every car future is different. Some are getting back on road, some cars are getting exported from Estonia, some cars go scrapyard.
Interesting that the idle speed “hunts”. I think this would be the idle control valve fighting an air leak ?, or maybe the throttle position sensor a bit worn ?….
there're two idle control valves, one electrical, another mechanical. Very often mechanicle indle control don't want to work how it shoud be, expecially when car standing a long time :) sorry for my English)))
Where do you get all the cars from? Is it your own cars or is some of the cars you revive for other people, and what are you doing with all the cars you revive? I do like your channel it is awesome.
Considering it had 269,000 miles on it, and with all that abuse, and neglect, engine started and ran smooth, only a Honda or a Toyota can do this, all other cars will refuse to start or after much more trouble to start the engine, have a very rough idle and keep stalling.
@@Flexiny if you said the car is abandoned, but you say buy the car with the key then who's selling the abandoned car? The guy who moves the car before you fixing it?
Dear Flexiny! Do you have any clue about my friend Honda Civic mk5 idle fluctuation and when we are on the road the engine it stops all of a sudden. We have checked the injecktors and cables and its right. Your video realize that this may not be the problem with fuel supply? This Accord is the same production time and might be the same engine prot. So far no one could tell what could be wrong ... :(
