I have been in contact. With a Back To Eden Gardener in Tn. He has been using wood chips for thirteen years. In one of his You Tube videos. He dug down into his soil. Looks great, It has done nothing to transform his clay soil underneath. I sent him the short version of, The Secrets of Eldorado. The discovery of Biochar. Even the founder of the BTE method has been using it. But he claimed it was his helper who got him to use. He saw no benefits of adding in his gardening system. He ignored where the film shows how the Biochar causes the soil to grow deeper. Sad!.

I like the idea of Back to Eden, but it is not practical for my purposes. There are great things being done and I'll implement or incorporate anything that I find helpful. People tend to choose one system whether or not they understand everything they are doing to follow it. I know some 'no-till' gardeners who refuse biochar because incorporating it will 'disturb' the soil. It is sad. Sad because no matter what system you use Biochar can be incorporated in a positive way. What you have observed is how an ideology can affect the practical workings of simple things like growing food. The Secrets of Eldorado is cool, Biochar is the treasure for sure. As always, thank-you for the great comments my friend. Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

Good work my friend. I have challenges with certain types of radishes, but plain ones are always successful for me. In fact, I let them grow until they create seed pods. I find them tastier than the radish itself.

Do you eat the seeds or the whole pod
@lrrerh8090

@@juliefall2892 the whole pod. It is milder than the radish and is crisp like a snap pea. Just don’t let them go too long or the pod gets fibrous.

I honestly didn't realize the seed pods were something tasty, lol. For years my radish just bolt and I get plenty of pods. I'll be trying them in a salad this time. Thanks for telling me that, very cool. Great to hear from you my friend, hope you are enjoying your weekend. Thank-you!

Hi there, good to see your video. Sorry to hear your bees died. I wonder if they were frozen? Do you have to feed them through winter? During droughts here in Australia the farmers were trucking there bees south to forests so they could feed. Because there was no nectar in the trees where they were. My dog ate a rotten dead cane toad he was vomiting it up and I gave him activated charcoal a good 2 heaped teaspoons mixed with water I sringed it down and he was fine , so that's good. I found one scientific study about it.

Hello, yes with our long winter some extra feed is often used. Fondant is good as liquid feed can't be used, humidity in winter is deadly for bees. I'm not sure what exactly killed all my bees. Combination of mite pressure, humidity from warm weather suddenly turning -30C is my guess. I don't see any other obvious cause, very frustrating not to know exactly. Thank-you for the kind words, I was very proud of how well they had been doing. My dog would do the same, lol. I'm glad we don't have that nuisance, nasty toads. Awesome, yes, activated charcoal will attract the toxic compounds and bind them to itself. Very smart, I like that. Thank-you for the great comments my friend. Hope you are enjoying your weekend!
