@@Southsidewheelsga he said his company allows him to use their equipment. He's trying to save money to buy and or build his own. Why hate on the kid? If my place of work would let me use their equipment, I surely would. I wouldn't expect it for free, but if they offered or said it was fine, why the hell not? That's not taking advantage of a company, if they think your work and skillset is valuable enough to their business to let you use their equipment.

It's amazing what companies throw away. I kept looking at the mic you're using. I was helping clean out a college building for remodel. It happened to be where they did audio video classes. I got Mics and sound / insulation panels for free simply because they were just upgrading.

Nailed it bro! And yea 10 years ago the internet was the Wild West for selling stuff. These days it’s definitely looking over saturated for the majority of products so going local gets around that challenge!

Great video👍👍 Most businesses fail because they are underfunded. By keeping your costs low, reinvesting in the business and continuing to work at your current job, you sizably increase the odds of running a successful business. Keep at it and when you finally climb that mountain the view will be spectacular..

@@ThyialIndustries most definitely you'll get new customers !! As I see it lots people are doing this but don't know design programs or real fabrication so they might build and find they don't have time and really don't want to put time in to run a business . Sure it's hobby machine but you need to try it's easier to start under 5k than 20k and fail but with cnc build knowledge you can build cnc router too it's all connected and in your grasp. Ihave the design part and fabrication just need cnc programs learning part.

Love your videos. I'm in the middle of building my own JDG cutter. How did your wire in the second X axis motor? Is like to incorporate that design too.

@@afmuse76 I have two separate drivers but the Arduino is sending the same pulse/dir signal to both drivers. Essential just pig tailed them together. If one of the motors is turning the wrong way just flip the dir wires

@@afmuse76 would have to figure out a way to mechanically bind both motors. ie. Ball screws, or rack and pinion. The belts have too much tolerance

Fusion 360 and solidworks. Fusion is free for personal use so I'd recommend starting there.
