Good setup. One recommendation, though. When the edger wears out, invest in a pas 3020, assuming you're an echo man. Once you get that, get a straight shaft edger attatchment articulating hedge trimmer attatchment, 2 or 3 extensions, and a pole saw attatchment. Those handhelds will wear out in 3 or 4 years. Whe they do, get a srm 225, a 2620, and a pas 3020. You want a lot of power for your edger and cutting tools. That's a good-looking setup, my man. Good luck this season.

Anyone looking to start a lawn care business please don't make all these mistakes, definitely don't go out and buy a bunch of brand-new things you have never used before.

I think your comment may apply to certain people who might have trouble paying for all this gear. Even if my business is a complete failure I own a half acre of property that I have to maintain at home plus other vacant lots. I have other income that allows me to afford this. I only used credit cards for some because it's on zero percent interest financing. And I have used lawn equipment before. My first job at 14 was mowing lawns. I prefer to start my business with the advantages of professional equipment in hand rather than struggle with cheap gear sorry if you feel it's a mistake.

@@CoolCatsLC a 5,000$ truck is not professional equipment, that a 5,000$ mower is not professional, don’t kid yourself. I’m just telling people this is an awful way to start a business. Don’t get butt hurt cause you mad a lot of poor decisions.
@briandewolfe22

@@CoolCatsLC this is not about what people can afford, it’s about buying new stuff you have no idea how it performs. You don’t start a lawn care business like this. Waste of time and money.

@@briandewolfe22 I've already mowed several vacant lots with my new zero turn mower. It performs great. And my electric blower was not strong enough to handle the leaf cleanups in my yard, so upgrading to the nice blower is awesome for me. Nothing that I bought is a waste of time and money because I will use it all anyway. You sound bitter.
@briandewolfe22
@briandewolfe22 11 месяцев назад
@@CoolCatsLC not bitter just giving advice where it’s needed. Some kid might see your video and think it’s smart to go out and put a bunch of new equipment on a credit card thinking he’s gonna start up a successful lawn care business, taking a big risk and chance of failing and losing it all. That’s awesome that you enjoy your mower I’m happy for you. And also you just proved my point with your blower, you said the used one you already had didn’t work that’s why you upgraded… that’s my point that’s what people should do when starting out, they should start with what they have and then upgrade when they know what works

If starting a business, why not support and build a relationship with a local mower shop instead of billion dollar big box store? If you have a problem with any of that equipment, you're going to need help from someone...home de-pot won't be there for you.

definitely not, lots of poor choices pretty much all around, and none of the equipment he got besides the 3020t and the backpack blower are good for any sort of commercial use. It's ok though, and he'll learn soon enough from his mistakes.

I have Echo's PB-9010(T) too and it is the most powerful, and revolutionary in the game.. AND you've got their X-series string-trimmers. Topped with Toro's TimeMaster. Looking good my pimp. 👌(•‿•)

Only thing I don't like about the pb-9010h is that the throttle can get switched off when I'm trying to get the unit on my back and it's a pain to have to take it off and restart the blower

@@CoolCatsLC go on back to the lawncare-store with the receipt and get THAT PB9010-TRIGGER. I run RedArmor only in mine, and my echo blower has made me a lot of money. And I'm sure it will be lucrative for many autumns aheads. (ᵔᴥᵔ)

Please don't follow this video if you're serious about starting a lawn care business. Maybe if you have all the funds for some reason then it might be ok, but this is one of the worst ways you could start a lawncare business. And even if you do go out and buy all brand new equipment, do lots of research before you buy anything, because just about everything this guy got is not a good choice if you're serious about lawn care. Maybe this setup works for the person making the video, but it's not going to work for anyone else except maybe a very few select people with unique situations.
@CoolCatsLC
@CoolCatsLC 8 месяцев назад
Instead of just making those claims why not talk about why everything I bought is not a good choice. Because you can look up each product individually on youtube and check the reviews and they are all positive. I would not recommend people going into debt for things they can't afford because to make it in lawn care you should probably budget about $500 a month in advertising to get started. I, however, have money from working other jobs all my life. Why not show us your setup? Talk about why you think yours is the best to get started instead of just leaving troll comments with nothing to explain why you feel this way.
@konner3593
@konner3593 8 месяцев назад
@@CoolCatsLC I wasn't trying to troll or hate at all and there's no reason for you to get defensive or offended. I was just trying to explain to anyone who's watching that may be interested in trying to start their own lawncare business that this is not a good way to go about it, and save them the hassle of learning that the hard way. I've looked up tons of products and most of the products that you purchased don't have very good reviews for commercial usage, so I'm not sure what research you're doing or what videos you're watching. Yes, you're right that you shouldn't go into debt to start a lawn care business, but there's no reason to budget $500 a month for advertising, when you can start off advertising for absolutely free, which is going to be the better choice for most people who are just getting into it because it doesn't make sense to spend a ton of money on something if you don't know for sure if it's going to work for you or not. Like I said, the setup might work fine for you, or for a select few others, however it's not a good universal strategy that most people should follow. I'd be happy to show my setup to anyone who is curious, however I'm not making youtube videos because that's not something I'm interested in doing. Again, not a troll comment, and if you think so then you should probably educate yourself on terms and such regarding... I wasn't trying to say that your strategy was bad for you since it's specific to your situation, but I was saying that it's probably a bad strategy for most. And my original statement was not an expression of how I felt, rather proven strategies and statistics of the many who have failed and succeeded trying what you and I are doing. I'm also not going to sit here and argue with you back and forth about how you feel your mistakes were justified, so I'm not responding to anything else you say after this comment. I hope that you don't have to learn the hard way with some of these mistakes that you have made, however eventually you will learn and can use that to improve. Best of luck to you this upcoming season

@@konner3593what research you done 😂 all those echo products except one are the top lineup for echo 😂 the time master only thing that not that good for commercial.
@konner3593
@konner3593 7 месяцев назад
@@FeriaPacas the 9010 is the only piece of equipment that's top of the line. The 2620s are good but definitely not top of the line. Yes you're right that timemaster is not good for commercial, but neither is that spartan. It's far from commercial grade. That chainsaw is not commercial grade either, nor are the battery tools he showed. I didn't say all of the equipment wasn't good for commercial, I said most. The point I was trying to make was that it's already a bad enough idea to go out and buy all brand new equipment to start off, but even if you were going to buy brand new equipment he made some very poor choices in the equipment that he bought.

So when you trim shrubs and lawn clean-ups where's the pile of junk going? Take it away or leave it inna pile somewhere? You have no room on the truck or trailer. Or maybe you just cut grass only?

I have room on there for a large trash can plus some large branches or palm leaves. If it's a big cleanup I go home and unload the mowers first, which I've done only once.
