Hopping in is fun, yes. Hopping in on a close game 7 as cpu is catching up is trying to force a championship for a team you weren't able to get one for.. sorry Matt.. this one was a little cheap. If you hop in for fun, it should never be in deciding situations.
They're likely going to get Harden so PG and Kawhi aren't getting traded. I wish 2K built the Clippers team out well. They're one of those teams where every player is built weird. Like why is Kawhi taking 6 shots in an elimination game and Morris is taking 17? Feel like the developers are hardcore Laker fans and do too much to make the Clippers stink on 2K when, in real life, they're a 45+ win team.
As a Clippers fan, you should never let those guys go. It’s fun to play out the scenario, but it won’t happen. They will be extended at a little bit under their max with maybe a non-guarantee in the last year. Not to mention, we’re getting a new stadium in the 2024-25 season meaning those guys will definitely be playing for us. Edit: I suggest using the custom-made draft classes in these videos. Makes things just more realistic and it would create more value in the top picks if you want Flagg/Boozer/Dybantsa/etc.
Dude, watching these videos with my draft classes and now with the scenario I spent hours making really motivates me. Thank you so much, I'm a fan of your channel! I hope everyone who has access enjoys it too, the low overalls and sliders were designed for those who enjoy long rebuilds.
Just wondering why did you change the players ratings like I can’t see mason plumlee being a 75 to start the season Kenyon Martin jr being so low I’m just curious!👍
I'm only 15 minutes in but I can't understand this one. You could have had 2 draft picks but declined because you didn't want to take Capela? The reason not to take Capela is because you already had 2 centers.. But then you drafted a center with the 2 pick you took anyway? Couldn't you have taken the 2 picks and loved Zubac for something else, draft Ware and had another pick to play with plus whatever asset you got for Zubac? I get not keeping George and Leonard, but what's the point when you don't have the pick from the following season? Wouldn't it be better to just overpay them for 2 seasons or whenever you get your picks back? Once you got the picks, let them walk and tank knowing you got picks coming. Idk just a thought, I'm only 15 minutes in.
Can you run a rebuild to make the Bucks actually have a chance to compete? 2K always has them fall off a cliff and then just load the Pelicans up with picks for the Jrue trade. 2K hates the Bucks, make it right, put together a roster that has them losing in the conference finals every year like real life 😅
have you tried a rebuild starting in the 80s into the modern day? i do it with the nets all the time because there's so many bad eras that can be prevented like the kd/kyrie and pierce/kg situation
I think the clippers for sure need to stay healthy first and foremost. They need to take the regular season more seriously. I also think they need to trade Norman Powell for a shooter. So trade him for ethier Duncan Robinson or buddy heild. And trade zubac and bones Hyland for Kyle Lowry. Lineup: 1. Russ, 2. Buddy heild, 3. Kawhi, 4. Pg13, 5. Robert covington. Bench: 1. Kyle Lowry, 2. Terrence Mann, 3. Nic batum, 4. Kenyan Martin & 5. Marcus Morris
The Clippers future is very grim. They lack picks and young players, if I were the GM, I would trade them for as many picks they are worth right now and young players, they won’t win a championship, it’s evident given the injury history. Edit: you missed the opportunity to sign and trade PG13 and Kawhi
Hard disagree. They live in LA! The biggest market in the NBA. Players always want to sign there and they all can't sign with the Lakers or Golden State. And they have like $60M worth of expirings next Summer plus they own their picks in 2027, 2028, 2029 and 2030. They haven't rebuilt since Blake was drafted, they won't do it now. They'll re-tool, not rebuild.
