hola a todos! I hope y'all are doing well 💓
In this video, I introduce a new language to the channel, the 2nd language in a long list of languages I have always wanted to learn but never gotten around to succeeding. Based on the success and fun I had with Thai, I decided now was the best time to tackle the next language, and this time, I chose Spanish.
I share my goals, resources, routines, etc, and I hope this video benefits you in some way 💝

Pan's Labyrinth o Laberinto del fauno is a movie originally in spanish you can watch it if you want, also I recommend you Teresa is a telenovela is popular because the protagonist is a "femme fatale".

I watched Teresa years ago, and I loved it so much. I will have to add it to my watch list. The first recommendation I will have to look up since I've never heard it before.

yes to the voiceover! sometimes I watch youtube while knitting or doing something else, so with subtitles only I feel like I miss more than half of the video cause I am not really looking. on the other hand, subtitles make the video more accessible. soo..both?

Maybe is because Spanish grammar is so overcomplicated. Yo soy nativa del español, y aquí los verbos cambian bastante su estructura de acorde al tiempo y el sujeto así que es confuso pero una vez que lo aprender es re facil, sigue asi!

si, la gramatica no es muy facil, y todavia faltaria aprender las jergas o lenguaje coloquial, de esas hay un monton

Por el lenguaje coloquial y jergas no te preocupes si no las entiendes, soy nativo español y no entiendo muchas cosas que dicen de ese tipo 💔🫦💔

So far, I only watch the ones I have discovered, and I shared all three in the video. As I mentioned that listening isn't really a focus for me right now, I don't have a lot of recs. From the video, I shared: Flavia Martin, sofiapricot, and Amasha. In the future, when I get to explore more, I will make a video sharing recommendations.

I can express myself really well in Thai, so if you count that, then I can confidently speak 4 languages, and I'm currently learning Spanish. Languages I know and can "survive" in are Korean, French, and Italian.
