Starting a NEW Sketchbook, How I Stay INSPIRED + PRODUCTIVE! Art Studio Vlog

In this cozy studio vlog, I start a brand new sketchbook and show how I design the inside cover (A little tradition of mine :) - I share my first very own prompt list I put together for a new series and challenge I will be taking on in the upcoming month. I bring you along on my days as a full time artist so come along and get productive with me! I fill the first two spreads in the new sketchbook with tons of satisfying drawing and painting with watercolor. I also show how I pack my Patreon rewards for this month. There are tons of ways to fill your sketchbook & I hope this video cozy art vlog inspires and fills you with tons of positivity and creativity!

How do you handle the various postage that goes all over the world? Doesn't that get really expensive? Also, it looked like you were using the same stamp for all mail. Jess Loved your October Birthday Art Studio Vlog. Like you I also celebrate my birthday in October - the 19th. I am now in my 85th year and have been painting watercolours since I was seven years old. The love for your art comes through in all your videos and your ‘gentle’ presentation is a pleasure to watch. I particularly love the way you title your sketchbooks. I also create an “arty” title page each time I begin a new book - I guess it’s the Libran in us. Please keep the videos coming. My art has been such a blessing during these past difficult “Covid” months and I am sure your art videos are also helping in this respect.

Hey Jess! I love watching your videos. Loved your opening spread for your new sketchbook. When you talking about how you decided to have like a black/white spread for the first page- going into the colorful spread - your sketchbook world, it kind of made me think of the movie Wizard of Oz. The movie started as a black and white film until Dorthy stepped into the world of Oz. Loved the creativity. Beautiful work. Also, you have such a beautiful and calming voice.
