i'm back from my break and i've missed you all very much. thank you for being patient with me this past few weeks. today we'll be starting a new sketchbook together. a sketchbook meant for messy drawings, channeling emotions, creativity and non creativity. even though i say "don't stress so much about drawing" like a mantra, truth is it's easier said than done. if you feel like you find it hard to start a new painting or finding motivation, i encourage you to get a separate book to be as messy and unorganised as you want. because at the end of the day, making art shouldn't be stressful and we should have fun with it.

I understand how you might feel bc I lost two of my dogs and it was honestly devastating. But mental health is important!!! It can take 1 week, 1 month or even one year but it is important. Just so you know you're not alone, I lost a pet just last week. It was my pregnant cat. She got very sick, killing the kittens inside her, causing her to be unable to give birth. She was in serious pain and hysteria, and I had to watch her die, knowing I could do nothing to help her. It was heartbreaking, but I am so glad I was at least able to say goodbye, even though I had to watch her be in so much agony. I am learning to cope as well, and I'm with you on this journey. I hope you feel better soon. You'll be in my prayers. 💜

hey girl i feel u. Due to a civil war in my home country i couldnt visit anymore and now its been like 10 yrs since last time i went. but unfortunately my grandma passed away b4 i got to see her one last time too. I really do understand exactly how u feel, it'll be ok. i'm sure ur dog knows u didnt abandon them just like how my grandma knows i love her, even tho i didnt actually get to tell her. omg samee i think i often put expectations on the result so i end up not starting at all and when i do i get frustrated it didnt look how i want it to look. strangely enough when i draw without those expectations the results r actually better! those drawings u did were beautiful 😍 much love 🥰
