@@iambuilders well, I'm studying Architecture currently but I'd love to go into more of construction instead of design and hopefully start a construction company, so I was just watching random vids on how to start a construction company and yours was really clear👍
I’m loving the content! Very informative with a great breakdown of how we can implement this ourselves as newbies in the industry. I’m thinking about pursuing a new career & the tools & insight you provide are wonderful. Funny enough, I live in Miami too!

Hi Daniel absolutely love your content just subscribed and turned on my notification bell. My name is Abdullah I'm 20 years old and I currently live in Toronto, Canada I have worked in the construction industry as a laborer and to be quit frank I absolutely fell in love with this industry. Ive decided that this is the profession I would like to pursue, for the past couple months I have been trying to learn as much as I possibly can about the different roles in this industry. To get a better understanding on what role best fits me and what is the most efficient way to get there. After coming across your channel you have absolutely opened my eyes in the potential of this industry through your perspective. My long term goal is to become a successful owner of a construction business. As a 20 year old who is hungry for success and wants to be in your shoes one day, what path would you recommend me to take. Should I take the schooling route, should I work for a successful contractor and learn home remodeling or is there a different route. Thank you for your content, you have inspired me and I hope one day I can get on a call with you to learn much more.
Yea let’s jump on a call! You might even consider joining our 8-Figure Contractor program. We even have guys in Canada there. Here’s a link to set up the call: iambuilders.com/call
If you’re brand new, I highly recommend you spend some time actually learning how to be a professional construction manager. If you don’t want to wait, I would start finding small subcontractors and bid for interiors packages like framing, drywall, paint. Focus on small/medium jobs. Low risk easy jobs. I can help you do this if you want.
@@iambuilders I do side work quite a bit. I been in carpentry for 2 years. But I live in florida an I read you need 5 years min experience to even qualify for a gc license
hey Daniel my name is Efrain and im located in Knoxville TN Im 18 and I have worked in construction with my father since I was 10 he is currently a project manager and since then I have enjoyed being in the work field and im planning on starting a GC company and probaly focus more in residential work and if everything goes as plan then start some commercial work. I know we in different states but some help I would appreciated thanks love your video
What about GC that are more on the residential side. I have my subs I use primarily but this seems more directed towards bigger commercial jobs if I am not mistakes. Or do basically the same premises follow?
Let me know if you’re interested. I covered how to do leads which will work in Canada inside of my 8-Figure Contractor Academy. Here’s a link to learn more: iambuilders.com/8fc
Can ANYONE answer a simple question that doesn’t seem to be asked or answered on any RU-vid video for me? Can you get a GC LICENSE COMPLETELY ONLINE? Or do I have to take 3 days off work to go do the in person courses ?
