Episode 11 • Starting Front Fender Fabrication
In this video, we continue fabrication on Denny's 69 Chevrolet Corvair. Scott starts making the new and wider front fenders. This Chevy will be getting some massive tires, so we have to widen the body to get them to fit. This car will be getting a brand new Nelson Racing twin-turbo LS V8 and it'll be moved up front. This car will sit on a custom Roadster Shop chassis with massive 6-piston Brembo brakes. It'll also be getting tons of metal fabrication, custom interior, custom wheels, and so much more. Make sure to follow this build closely, it'll be a wild one!

That my friends, is what you call a Master Craftsman in his trade. The vision that this takes & the ability & patience to make it happen is awe-inspiring. Can’t wait to see this beauty come together. I hope the paint & body shop doesn’t screw up your work!😂🤣😂

The metal work Scott and Mark do is awesome, that last piece on this episode just bends in so many directions. Paint and interiors are great too but watching metal being shaped is my favorite part of the build. Can't wait to see this unit finished. You da 💣

What a true artist! I get anxiety knowing there has to be mirror image panels made for the other side of the car and I'm not even the one doing the work. So labor intensive. I do love how the shop is set up with so much room to work and the tools can easily be moved where you need them.

We screw up pieces from time to time. That’s why we use cardboard first, it’s a whole lot cheaper.

That 69 Covair looks like a killer of a vehicle. You should call it The Wicked Spidy or Spidery. I love the idea of the gray color idea. Maybe do a 2-tone gray and splash of medium light color green. Otherwise, keep on the cool work. You guys Rock.!

The dude is a master metal craftsman. That having been said, a pet peeve of mine after working in a shop for 45 years; guys who run a bandsaw with the upper guides adjusted all the way up. Not just a safety issue, but also decreases the accuracy of the cut when following radii because of blade twisting. I'm just sayin'. How many years is this build gonna take I wonder...I look forward to every clip.
