SO surprised! Been playing Crossout for 3 month and subbed to Level for 4-5 years. I didn't expect this any time soon but I always considered this a sign that Crossout is gonna be BIG, yet here we are! Have fun level
The best way to get your Reputation up is when you get your Daily Challenges, go in Adventure, and knock out your Side Challenges (10) first. You'll get your Well Rested bonus (300%) applied to All of them at once, as well as any main Challenges you do as well. You can burn up the entire Rested bonus all in 1 go, to maximize the Reputation earned, since it's all counted at once. Then do your Missions, and Raids for the Scrap/Copper.
The Sprinter cab, lightweight frames, and Small Wheels have the best Durability/Weight ratio. So, you can add more parts, stand-off armor, and wheels (More wheels means you can lose some without being crippled) up to the Parts limit without going over-weight.
You missed a newbie level thing that a lot of people miss - Hatchets. You get two of them fairly early on, much sooner than you get that gun mount. Everything that can be said in favor of a combat bumper is an order of magnitude more true of the Hatchets. A bumper is a 1 point weapon, while Hatchets are 10 points! And unlike the explosive spears, they don’t run out of ammo. They also serve a useful purpose, in giving you the ability to fend off a self-destructing attacker - if they’re on the end of your blade, you take greatly reduced damage when they blow up. Hatchets do excellent ram damage but are considered regular parts for parts limit and weapons for resisting damage. Powered melee costs power points, but Hatchets cost zero power. Unless you are right at the parts limit and really need one specific thing, there is never any practical reason not to have them
This game isn't as grindy as some other comments would have you believe, the game just doesn't tell you. I thought it was too until I figured out you can sell fuel and wires to make quick coin. Hit 3k PS as fast as you can, do "get the wires" and sell those on the market. Don't do quick sell, make sure you're hitting the trade screen. Buy a blue fuel tank, put it and a fuel barrel on, and you can also start selling fuel. You can make 30-50 coins an hour if you don't suck. The games progression will be, from my experience, similar to games like WoW for starting players not being power leveled. I've been playing less than 2 weeks and I'm easily doing 6.5k builds and I haven't spent a dime on this game, and it took me 5 days to figure out how to make coins.
Yes. When you finish a battle with a fuel tank and it remains in tact then you get an amount of fuel equal to what the fuel tank says in it's tool tip. The same type of barrel doesn't stack, two different types e.g A white and blue rarity fuel tank will stack.
It wasnt this is the sequal of the orignal game which came out in 2005 called hard truck apocalypse cross out is after the events of that hard truck is the 1 game which tells u the story of how it all happens and crossout is the name of the virus and crossout game is the sequal to it
I tried this game when it was released on steam. It's actually a pretty fun game to play and i enjoyed playing it. Unfortunately though, it has the biggest grind i have ever seen from any game in my entire life. Be prepared to grind for at least a week for one low/mid-tier item, high-tier items will take you at least a few months unless you spend 12 hours a day playing this game or drop some money on it. It gets very repetitive when you're just zipping around the map with your shitty, low-tier vehicle with the same 3 guns on it for week after week. Gameplay is good, progression isn't.
This reminds me alot of that free game on steam where you basically build rovers, almost looks like a massive re-skin of that game. But I think it has robot in the name, can't remember
It's interesting to see the differences in mass, etc., on PC vs PS4. On PS4, There's no benefit to using starter wheels, as the small wheels have equal PS, lighter weight, AND higher durability.
War Thunder's Russian Bias is very minimal and only really apparent in tier 2-3.. and as long as you steer clear of Arcade air combat, the Yak derp cannons have major draw backs.
Overall Gaijin's grind is nothing compared to WarGaming... played WoWs for 5 months, got to tier 9 with German BB and CA.. in the same amount of time I completely filled out my German ground and air units on War Thunder.
I was very surprised to see crossout here, i've been playing it since day 1 when it came out as an open beta (couldn't get in the closed :/), i find it really fun, but most people i played with found it kinda repetitive after a while, i still play the game whenever i get some time to kill, i've basically gone from bf4 to crossout as my main game to play
I tried this game out today. It's decent but I tried the whole "take out the guns first" tactic and I just ended up getting pounced on and the only thing my team mates was concerned about is either going after the vehicles with no weapons or taking out the vehicles already on fire. Your team mates have no worries about ditching you and going after a weaker vehicle running away lol
I made a vehicle with two wheels in this game and called it badass Bicycle. If you want to build this you want to make sure that the vehicle is symmetrical or else it won’t work. If you want three guns then put one on the top and the others on the sides. You can do whatever you want with your build if you copy my self thought design.
for those who can't find a 6x4, instead use a smaller cabin, like the docker/wwt1. to mount a guerrilla, and then to mount two medium wheels you need two extra blocks on the sides of the middle section edit: but that does mean you will only be able to mount 3 instead of 4 guns :/
What, I never knew Cap made any crossout vids?!?!? This is kinda trippy, been playing for YEARS on PC and just got it on Xbox and I'm a total noob again lol It's Kraze I never found one of these videos earlier...
I actually have been playing around with the wheels on the inside. Theyre defended from pretty much all attacks and if you use at least three wheels, you'll be ok as the frames help keep it upright. Using all steering wheels increases maneuverability and i havent had too much of an issue with people destroying the frames unless they ram me, but with the handling it's easy to evade ramming attacks.
Sgt. Ribeye it doesn't look like levelcap has one of those accounts. He doesn't have everything. Also, those accounts are called promotional for a reason
Awesome to see you covering CrossOut! I hope you do more advanced builds and guides as well. Just a tip in case you didn't know, doing Storm Warning and Races is a great way to level up quickly. Second place, which I was able to get in Storm Warning and Races with a very similar build, can give up to 10k with a few decoration pieces and a well rested bonus.
I find it more beneficial to mount as many weapons as possible to the cabin, anywhere else will likely get destroyed taking any weapon mounted along with it.
Played this game through the closed beta, and I'm very glad it's open now because it's genuinely a fun game! Sure there's some cheese and p2w aspects, but grinding works just as well. Also I recall seeing you in-game which is pretty neato!
Im lvl 24 and my truck has 8 wheels super fast and with 6 machineguns. A total beast. Get the cabin from lunatics that gives you 11 energy and the generator +2 energy. Then you have a beast
Yeah, a friend of mine tried to get me to play this a long time ago. Went ahead and downloaded it, but I never found time to go ahead and actually open it up. It looks kind of fun, but not all that great to the point where I want to start playing and really get into it.
I used a joining code and I have the canon in front of the cabin then use some van sides and bumpers in front to protect the gun. I have 4 wheels in the back, all steering and got van Windows on the back to protect my roll over module. I have just enough energy to add a machine gun on top. Might need to move the turret in the back so it's harder to hit
The Emporer is pleased with his starter titan..Would you like to know more? No. An open mind is like a fortress with its gates unbarred and unguarded. Ave Imperator.
Destroying the weapons of enemies and immediately moving on isn't safe. Strategies such as ramming, and self destructing make "disarmed enemies" still capable of causing a lot of damage.
I always considered suggesting another game made by this company: War Thunder. With how much detailed information you give, you could be very helpful in that community. Not just as a player, but a reviewer/instructor of all the vehicles.
Sure, if he knew how to play. It'd take him literal years to get to the point where he knows enough about it and has got enough vehicles to actually make good content and help people.
Alright game but unplayable for me as I'm Australian and there is a solid 1 second delay between me pressing buttons and the car actually doing stuff when I play in actual matches. For example I turn left and 1 second later the car turns left, I shoot my cannon and 1 second later the cannon actually shoots.
I dont build it like that,i make a asymetrical banana build, with front and rear steering and mid non steer,i put all on front and aim front 2 enemy, guns r spaced, on shoot through parts
Oh boy.. I wish they had "mirror" building..it would make it so much easier and faster to build new vehicles... If they copy robocraft scheme, they should at least do it properly..
