Last season of rank roulette I guessed every single week hoping to see my standings vs other viewers at the end, but community guesses were only used as an average. I won't be guessing this time around unless we hear more about what will happen with our guesses. Still a very fun series though.
@@NumericFork If you check the link, this time they ask for your email too, so chances are that there might be a table with your scores vs the world in the end.
This episode is so savage Hamster: Our favourite pro player who has not won anything since 2016 Harstem: Rotti is out of touch with his fan base Rotti: *7 overlords* This could still be Elazer
Would love it, if Hamster introduced the clips with the matchup and region again, especially because the region can make quite a difference. Awsome season 2 is here!
Silver was was a dead give away for round 2 when the zerg move commanded his queens PAST the BC's and they all got set on fire without firing a single attack.
About the second game: When both players don't follow something even remotely resembling a build order you can be pretty sure they are low silver, if not bronze.
My guess was Masters 2. I was thinking Masters 1, but then the 3K float while not maxed made me think it was lower. As Harstem pointed out, he didn't make the correct Gateway count to remax.
Building placement I feel is a giveaway as well because I'm pretty sure any gm even on na will have optimal placement unless harassment forces buildings into certain places, or your hiding something for a specific timing or some such. Very very clean for most of the game if you're not gm though
@@richardgallimore5976 Plus it was on the european Server. I personally guessed Masters 1. Because the Protoss does seem to misjudge fights that he can take. I didn't see him fallback with his army even as it was very clear that he couldn't win the fight.
I'm surprised during that second game neither one of them commented on the Zerg player move-commanding an entire conga line of Queens under the BC's. That alone seems to mandate the league of the player.
Hey my guy Harstem(and hamster) the great. The link in your description to your second youtube channel(which i assume is harstemcasts) doesn't work! love the content =)
Nice video!! Very engaging from beginning to end. Nevertheless, businesses and investment are easiest way to make money irrespective of which party makes it to the oval office....
@@Kilesfactor the natural CC not changed to an orbital and the complete lack of wall in TvZ was a good indication for silver. Then again they were making units (even if not the good ones) and expanding, so I was putting them at gold.
@@pelinore2366 I said diamond II. Most of my matches are me doing [zealot - archon - counter unit] and laughing at other Protoss using prismatic alignment on archons or losing to any attack before 6 mins.
@@pelinore2366 also I don’t wall off in TvZ because if you are rushing lings, you probably are a better person than I am. And when I use lings versus a terrianer, I just get fucked by marines, so I just go hydra - roach every goddamn game.
Community one: that toss played better than me for sure, so he’s above diamond 1 likely. my guess is its either masters 3 or masters 2 though, i am leanig more towards masters 2. Masters leauge is pretty large, so i doubt he’s actually too high. Terran also didnt control his vikings perfectly(likely in same control group as bio) but he did use his ghosts decently. Both sides werent great, but they werent bad. Definately felt like a msters game though.
I think it’s diamond league. We can see that Protoss gets resources piled up. Gets Colos AND high Templar against bio army. And the response from the Terran is about 20 Vikings or more. We can also see dark shrine and +1 armor just finishing for Protoss at 12 minute mark. Can’t be masters
I also guessed Master 2, the money was too well spent in the beginning of the game to be below Masters imo. Ghosts were used, Vikings were used, Terran didn't just ram into Storm. I'd say GM, but the float at the end was to high.
For round 4, I guessed Platinum 1 because even in NA the stupid stats like mass static d doesn't work higher up on the ladder. I'm diamond 2 and rarely see this stuff (that said, I do see it sometimes) To reiterate: This is exactly what my games against opponents like this look like XD
I guessed Diamond 2 for round 4, the only one I got completely right. My Protoss offrace is D1 and sometimes me or my opponent will just mass Skytoss. If I try to play against Skytoss by being more mobile (like the Blink Stalker attack on the main) I just die because I can't control units well & Skytoss a-move is very easy. I feel like my D1 games and this game were very similar, this looked VERY slightly worse.
I thought so at first too, but then again in the end of the video terran was running him over and he had 3k minerals. I say master 2 But yes, it definetly seems like a grand master, but I think its a trap x)
In the last game i just want to say there are somehow adepts with zealots, stalkers, sentinels, hts and colossi in his main army. also every single sentinel is full energy, and every ht except the one who just casted a storm at 22:01
mid-level SC2 is so fun to watch cause people get there with different skill-sets. You can have say a diamond TvZ player with a near perfect macro, but his micro is trash and he a-moves his bio into lurkers and banelings so he never reaches as high MMR as his macro should allow. In that same game you could have a Z player who is a little suspect on the injects and creep spread, but played a bunch of WC3 and likes to micro so they get really good engagements and stay in the game even with worse economy than terran which "shouldnt" happen in the matchup. Pro games are fun to watch of course but even amateur mid-high level games are great too just to see the different styles of play people bring to the game
The first guy, saVer, is currently at 4700 MMR which is M3 on EU. The guy is not even close to M1 level, he probably got into the league early in the season when the MMR ranges are much lower. You should really assess the leagues by where the MMR of the player belongs right now.
you guys really should show points as they are accumulated, kinda makes it hard to follow when one has to keep remembering what happened in previous rounds to be able to follow the score
@@hamster_designs With how anchoring has gone for Harstem's opponents, I'd say not letting him anchor his guests is putting them at a huge disadvantage lol
I got 13 points! With my first guess... Only 8 points on the other guesses. Total 21 points. 1) Silver 1 - 13 points 2) Silver 1 - 3 points 3) Gold 3 - 2 points 4) Diamond 3 - 2 points
Hello dear pros *tips fedora*. It seems your guesses were a bit off *puts down anime pillow*. Now as a lower level player, I can't believe some of the guesses you made *grabs fake katana off the wall*. Here's why, having watched the entire video and knowing the results, I can confidently say I would have guessed 100% right!
