This video is the second in a series for beginners who are just starting out in Taekwon-Do.
Taekwon-Do originated from Korea so the many commands are given in Korean, during the class. This video explains the meaning of the basic Korean commands.
Special appearance - Angelica and Christopher

Disclaimer :
I recognise Grand Master General Choi Hong Hi as the true authority on Taekwon-Do. The information in my tutorial is based on my interpretation of Taekwon-Do as taught to me by the Founder General Choi Hong Hi and as referred to in his book ‘TAEKWON-DO’ (5th Edition 1999) Published by ITF and printed in Canada.
Other Taekwon-Do Masters and Grand Masters may have a different interpretation of Taekwon-Do theory and practice, so if you are a Taekwon-Do student, it is important to check with your instructor if you are not sure about which interpretation you should be following.

I train in a "family friendly class" with children and most of those under 10 kick my ass every time HAHA 😅😅 its kids and adult class and it's amazing how quick kids learn compared to our old brains. My coach who has a black belt is explaining to us everything in detail. She can jump higher than her height which is pretty impressive to me as she is a tall lady. I attend yoga pilates and plenty of classes. But the best part is THAT CLASS WITH YOUNG KIDS AND TEENAGERS IS ACTUALLY THE CLASS WHERE EVERY ONE TAKES THINGS MORE SERIOUS (it is oposite from people would normally think)... hut thise kids are focused. They dont laugh if i can't do something. They are training before they can even talk!!! It is truly something everyone should try. No matter what level you are, you will learn a lot (for adults especially self defence skills and balance in case you get attacked)💪🏽💪🏽😊 🙏

I run family classes in the weekends. It's great to see parents and even grand parents training alongside the kids. Taekwon-Do can help bring family members together with a common interest.

They say never work with kids, but it seems Grandmaster needs to be added to the list. Nice video sir. Looks like you have an instructor in the making there.

The next video in this series will be on how to line up in class. It wil be showing animations which takes a long time to prepare. It is half done at the moment and I hope to finish soon, hopefully within the next 6 weeks.

In my old Taekwondo club, they line up in style in all classes and in my current club they line up in ITF style in only the black belt club (last class btw)
