EXCLUSIVE: The Real Story Behind 'Street-Singer Lani'
It was such an unforgettable experience for the Asia's Nightingale Lani Misalucha, who is used to sing in prestigious stages here and abroad, but this time it's a different one -- on one of the busy streets in Manila.
Aside from the original plan to make a music video for her single 'Saan Darating Ang Umaga', which is included in her latest album under Star Records "The Nightingale Returns", it turned out to be a social experiment to find out how does it look like when people see Misalucha singing on the street and vice-versa.
However, since she enjoyed the experience, Misalucha who's also tagged as Las Vegas' 'Siren of the Strip' performed two more songs such as her renditions of 'Anak' and 'Starting Over Again'.
For a short period of time, Misalucha seemed like a substitute for Mang Ben and Aling Flor, the original street-singers on that certain location.
And since the people were really entertained by her wonderful voice, she took advantage of her talent to collect donations for the Mang Ben and Aling Flor to somehow help them.
