South Louisiana here cool old truck man I can bet that old truck will still be rolling around in 15 to 20 years from now and every body that has a 2023 truck will be in the junk yard in about 5 to 6 years.🤠
Great to see these old Soviet trucks diligently do its work. Make me think of the old British build Bedford's with the long nose we used on the copper mines way back in the 60's and 70's with the boxer gearboxes. 👌🏾👌🏾🇿🇦
@@DanielSilva-jj2lz ZIL-MMZ-585E - the dump truck has a gasoline engine with a volume of 5560 cm3 For some reason they threw out the air filter from the carburetor, apparently it is not needed in Indonesia.
Pro cinematography of a great subject - well done! Please include at least the country where you filmed this in the description. For some reason it's a bit unsatisfying not knowing.
What amazing is the old diesel make unbelievable torque as they don't rev over 2,000 rpm catapilar had their first bulldozer that make 75 hp but about 800 ft torque
Those trucks are fighting as we speak in Ukraine, with both the Ukrainians and the Russians using them. What do you mean "That is why it is still alive.". This is like the automotive myth, about italian cars rusting so much because they were using "cheap Russian steel". It turns out that all Ladas from the Seventies are all alive and well, while there isn't a single italian car remaining not from the Seventies, but even from the 00's.
The engine is a copy of the Studebaker Hercules JXD engine that was used in the Studebaker US6 6x6 truck sent the USSR as be used by the Red Army during WW2
yaa betul sekali, disana anda membuat berbagai macam alat yg kuat dan hebat. utk sebuah alasan kemerdekaan dengan kedok kemanusiaan. Disini kami menggunakanya utk keadilan dan kedamaian.
Where might this be? Left hand traffic, latin but illegible writing (but no internet domain as a clue :-( ), middle to low income - vulcanic stones (otherwise they could not be carried around that easily) I'd say Indonesia. But did they buy Soviet goods? Nice to see how robust they really are.
In the 1960s, before Ganefo was held in Jakarta, the Soviet Union provided assistance to build a sports stadium (Gelora Bung Karno), a national monument and a hotel in Jakarta. These trucks were used for this purpose. There were also jeeps and buses.
