YAYY can’t wait to see what you find next and for your next video! Apartment hunting is so much work but it’ll be worth it especially with how stressful your current place has been. Also, my partner and I just moved to Astoria and we loveeee it. Hope you find something that makes you happy while also staying in budget!

I love that you mention taking a step back to really evaluate if you can afford it. I am also apartment hunting casually and I’ve seen some beautiful places but they are not affordable based on the other things I want to spend money on 😭😭

This is super random but I just started watching the video when you mentioned vitamin d and i needed to comment!! My husband used to take that too but it didn't start working for him till he took it with vitamin k. One of our pharmacist friends told us about it. Apparently Vitamin k helps with the absorption of vitamin d....otherwise the vitamin d might accumulate and you may get higher cholesterol than normal eventually. Granted he was taking it for like years without Vitamin k. Not medical advice of course lol but just wanted to share what we take. There's a blend of vitamin d and k that you can get from amazon.

You may have to consider moving away from the L.I.C part of Queens, and coming more toward the Jamaica Ave (where I live) or parts like Forest Hills or Richmond Hill, South Ozone Park. Anything in Astoria is going to be hella expensive because it's close to Manhattan. Good Luck with your search..If something semi-affordable pops up, I'll let you know⚘️

Hi! Try a vitamin b complex for mood. Solgar is the brand I'd recommend. Even for the Vitamin D (or any other supplement), you'd want a third-party tested/certified one, because supplements are not regulated. Also, there are eye drops that help with eye redness, if you wanna try those? ❤

I hope the apartment hunt goes well! what is your job? what do you do for a living? if you don't mind me asking, what is your undergrad degree > do you have a masters? how do you pay for rent in your area of NYC? I hear that the cost of living in NYC is high in all 5 boroughs, which borough is the safest and lowest I hear that Albany has a low cost of living. do you think thats better than NYC

Native NYC dweller: Albany is a good 3 hours drive from NYC (I can be in the state of Maryland in the same amount of time). Albany is more of a university town (even though it's the state capitol) versus where the action is in NYC. The safest borough would be Staten Island- which is about an hour drive into Manhattan (there's only 1 subway line in S.I & you'll have to take a bus or ferry- 25mins to get into Manhattan, which is where most people do things, ie: work/entertainment)
