Being raised on a farm myself, fuel for the tractor is as important as the seed planted. We would never, ever let a tractor get so low on fuel. On our farm walking 10 miles with a Jerry can was not an option. We could not afford the wasted time.
Absolutely in a country like Ireland running out of fuel in your tractor in the middle of nowhere isn’t fun but if you have a phone there is a bit of hope

There is a deutz Fahr tractor (small tractor) mod with around 100 hp and is cheep so you could get that as a tractor upgrade Keep up the great content 😀😀😀
@@tobycoston2971 When buying the thing for sowing seeds (can't remember the name now) there was the option to not buy scrapers with it, which reduces the cost by £200. He mentioned it when checking the price a few moments earlier and when actually buying it, he forgot... Oh well.
We had that same Ferguson tractor on our farm growing up. Was not uncommon for it to pop wheelies for even the slightest weight. My job was often to be the front weight haha.
Daggerwin, it would be useful if you are looking for a mod that has handheld seed and fertilizer bags. it is not only small, but also cheap and you don't have to use a front loader
Not sure if this has been said yet, but you sound EXACTLY like Cheerful Charlie from Clarkson's Farm! Everything about the way you speak lol. So fitting as you play a farm sim. Great content too, this made me want to setup my own survivor type gameplay on fs19
I understand that it is part of making the videos but I would like to see you lock the time setting to something, I often find 15x to be a reasonable one for survival things like this coupled with sleeping for 8 hours it makes a day take about an hour to get through. it makes you think about how much you can plant/harvest in a time period espicaly with plant withering on. instead of having near infinite time at 1x. Personally I'm loving my play where I started with NOTHING and 0 money then took a loan to get started for equipment and fields. I do work contracts with MY equipment. Makes getting upgrades at the start slow as you are getting dinged for interest everyday until you can pay it off. I'm not leasing anything and can only do loans for big purchase events (planing to add a big field and the straw harvest pelitizer/barn and another field next year to put wheat into my crop rotation). I'm also running seasons set to 6 days for now (though I had to disable crop moisture or I was unable to get things harvested due to only getting like 8 hours of a day by the time it dried and then got up to 28% wet at night despite not raining).
Doing a timelapse series on No Man's Land on my own channel as well, but with a bit more machinery and funds at the start 😄. You really have made this survival series difficult for yourself, will be really interesting to see what you make of it!
You are leaving alot of workable land. Plow as close to the rocks and trees as you can. Into the corners with small eqipment. I grew up on a farm that used a smal tractor like that. Enjoy the cast. Thanks
Maby you should make a big stack of trees ij case you need money on short notice just like now you got 2pounds short you could just trow a log in the chipper and resume work faster👍🏻
Great intro, here's a tip. To add weight on the front of the Ferguson so it doesn't wheelie try adding front loader arms and bucket then fill the bucket with lime. Alternative is to get the pallet forks and grab one of the bales out of your hayshed.
Hello daggerwin, there is a mod called diesel mod wich allows you to buy oil barrels and canisters. It could help you a lot by buying a small 25 liter canister

I think the logs are placed there to help get you started. Also all equipment should be placed in the barn when not in use. Let's take care of the equipment now...
I did something similar. One of the first things I did was, I stocked piled Logs by the chipper. Actually didnt worry about planting right away, I just cut trees, placed by chipper, until had some where around 20 trees. then spent the time just chipping them all. Got a decent starting money from that. Got the plow, seeder, seeds, mower. had to cut some more trees down until i was able to get enough for harvester
You should not use the mod that lets you lift anything in my opinion because the logs that you are lifting are way bigger than the ones you would usually be able to
You might have figured this out by now, but I discovered it while using the chainsaw. Every time you use the chainsaw, instead of using fuel, you use money. Because it is considered a hand tool, there is no fuel tank. It subtracts money in place of a fuel tank. I was pretty upset with my ever dwindling funds until I figured it out.
Daggerwin with those logs they sometimes glitch out if you sell them as they are a placeable and will sometimes randomly respawn and I've had them lag out my game
There is a lot of youtubers who make videos like you. But we watch not just for entertainment but because we like who you are as a person. Your entertaining and funny, I'd still stay sub no matter what u play ! :D
just a thought , with regsrds to the money at 1.42in the vid behind the grain silos as you look at them but to thr right of the storage shed you see a broken wind mill. if you can fix that and get it working it generates electricity and trickles the power into the grid which trickles cash back into your wallet so you dont have abig headache for money with regards to tractor power,save up and buy thr teatanom from the ferguson pack
You really should get rid of the lifting mod. When you can lift entire trees and pallets it's as bad, if not worse than cheating money. When I play survival type modes it's about making the farm work and enjoying the slow growth and the satisfaction that comes from that. Not rushing to the end to just get it over with.
Mayby you can plant patatoes, There are small planters/harvesters for that, I have pulled him with the massey ferguson TEF 20 (the vintage tractor from the SR series) and it works fine.
You could make this challenge even harder by buying land with trees on it on hard mode buying a chainsaw, pissing away all your money so you have no money, no equipment and to make any money you have to walk your logs over to sell them until you can afford the cheapest car. I think leasing is totally valid though so I wouldn't stop that from happening.
When you drove off to get the seeder I was dumbfounded. It was a wasted trip using up precious fuel. You cant use it without the seed. I was like... "Check the prices first!" EDIT: Nevermind. As I continued watching and got to the part where you seeded, I realized how much extra seed you have.
