Forgive me if im being a bit dim si. But the wheel travels more than the shock because its further from the center point of youre arc. Also be aware that because the wheel is on an arc from a fixed point the wheel will come forward it a tangent to that arc. It will barely be noticable.

You only take the Motorcycle in once , [ If it passes first time of course ] , the Brackets for the Number Plate can easily be altered after the Test . Not that I condone any such actions . The stand off Number Plate could be made to look quite trick .
Hey Quickie didn't realize how big the plates were getting over there, why not make it flip horizontal then you can use it as a picnic table when you stuck in one of those traffic jams you have, why two plate on a side mount , rear plate has to be visible at so many degrees at x number of meters ( sorry feet) to either side of the bike viewed from the rear, and this is only the start .

Hi, when you did the gearbox on the zzr how bad was it to get the gears back into neutral. My starter clutch has just gone and I'm knackered without my bike.
That wasn't a problem matey at all. All the gears selected easily, it was just jumping out of 5th because the dogs on the 5th gear sprocket were badly worn.
If you need to refresh your memory with the English wheel there are a few good RU-vid channels to watch. There is a guy with a Chinese Wheel although his method is very strange. 😮
I'd guess the regs are based upon a generic all vehicles format, so 'PlateS' could be carried over from that for a truck or something that requires additional plates like Long or wide vehicle. Or maybe not...
To be fair if the plate was on the left side of the wheel and Mr Policeman was on the right, he wouldn’t be able to see it. That’s my theory anyway. Doesn’t alter the fact that a number plate there looks stoopid anyway.
