I like this cover because it feels like mecha is slowly making eggman angrier, which makes him think more on-the-spot which is horrible for quick thinking, and will give mecha and metal a shot at defeating this new beast

I kinda feel like sonic's part could've been alil different :P he's already decaying as is so shouldn't his vocals reflect it, or be mangled in that case? & it would've been neat if, despite decay & missing limbs, Sonic still managed to stand against Mecha for 1 last time before collapsing toward the end of his piece, shattering his vocals. :P

For my head canon after prey and fight or flight or some time after it back story at this point metal sonic was built when eggman went crazy and made furnace metal when in hiding metal was evil but he had limits and this was too much so went for planing mecha sonic MK 1 & 2 found metal sonic and joins the planing at this point sonic Amy ray were well you know and tails died at fight or flight after this mecha sonic MK 2 went to go battle eggman when he showed up eggman upgraded furnace to neo furnace and revived tails Amy and sonic mostly to help out after metal sonic joined the fight and barely won the soul here gone furnace was damage and eggman was knocked out after they took the time stones and booked it
This version is a fan creation, where the original Metal Sonic absorbed the other Metal variants, like silver sonic from 2 and a prototype (plus at least one more but it's been a while since I've seen the animation), after Sonic Heroes, becoming more powerful than Eggman could control. It then killed pretty much everyone but Sonic and Shadow hunting the Chaos emeralds, forcing Shadow to send them to another dimension, the Mushroom Kingdom, to be exact, then Mecha followed the emeralds, and started the story of Super Mario Bros. Z. Also, despite the "killed everyone" thing it wasn't a creepypasta. Predictably for a Nintendo fan project though, Nintendo eventually put a stop to it, so there hasn't been an episode since the mid 2000's.
