Clem is 8 and Duck is 10. But here's the different between the two's personality and upbringing. Clem: Her parents were a doctor and engineer. So they both worked a lot. They also took vacations to Savannah a lot and even took Clem with them once. But for the most part Clem was with her babysitter Sandra (Who you killed in Clem's house after she turned). Clem spent a lot of time playing with Sandra and playing in her treehouse. She liked to play games where she was a warrior princess or a pirate etc. So she was always a bit spunky. She also had fights with her mom, so she was a sassy little girl. Duck: His parents were a veterinarian and a commercial fisherman. His dad was out on some boat somewhere or another most of Duck's life. Duck was pampered, babied and basically sheltered by his mom. He was always super hyper (maybe he has ADHD). But his mom was always protecting him and caring for him. So Clem has a bit of a more independent, calm, rational personality and she's smart. Duck is more sheltered, carefree, and hyper. So even though he's older, he sees things different than Clem does. Plus Clem survived 3 days alone in a treehouse after Sandra died. Duck's daddy saved him from a walker back at the gas station. While Clem has no parents, and is by herself... Duck is with BOTH his parents. Different scenarios affect kids differently. Duck: My Mom and Dad will fix things! No need to worry! Clem: My Mom and Dad are gone! I need to be tough!
Berleezy... You playing around while the game was unpaused was a huge mistake. You could have stopped clem from eating a person, so larry was right that you took your sweet time.

She's 3/4 African American, and 1/4 Asian, Her mother is half Asian and black, and her father is full African American. Her bio, says she's African American. In the later seasons her skin gets darker.
11:42 Someone finally mentioned it. I always thought Clem was asian because she's so light (I never took a close look at the family photo in the first episode) or blasian since she thought Lee was her father from the distance. I just found out that she is only AA when I looked up character details to get more context for season 4 characters. This whole time I thought she was asian/blasian....wth. I've been living a lie 🤯
Clementine is black but her design is from one of the programmers daughters, who is Japanese. A better (or I guess I could say) a more accurate racial template for Clementine might in fact be Half-Black, Half-Asian. Or maybe just a Quarter-Asian. In-canon she's full black. But my headcannon is only partial.
