This horse was so hungry that she stuck her head in an electric fence looking for food. But now she's gotten plenty to eat and feels like a whole new horse. Today she's about to find out she has a whole field of grass to run in!

@UClG65i9kxTT86spZQoK22eA they are living things who rely on humans to take care of them. Wanting justice for these animals being abused and starved is not an unnatural thought process. The way this beautiful sweet gentle girl took to Amanda is a once in a lifetime blessing. The way all of them accepted the help, compassion & love from, to them, what must have seemed initially as more creatures that just bring pain demonstrates so perfectly exactly how unconditionally trusting animals are. Something we can truely learn from but time & evidence consistently proves we won't which just makes what you have done for these precious creatures all the more special. Thank you for giving them the love, devotio, commitment & life that these gorgeous girls deserve & thank you for sharing with us.

I love seeing this. The freedom of running around in a beautiful environment kicking up their heels. So glad there are people who care about these animals that other (and I use the term loosely) people don't care for. The picture of Rosie reaching underneath the fence to get food reminded me of a neighbour we had. He put his beautiful horse in a paddock that was really small. Never took him out of the yard and never fed him. We had 4 1/2 acres that we weren't utilizing to its full potential. I told the neighbour that if he fenced it off, he could use our place for free. I was really happy that he actually agreed. He only used barbed wire but it was enough to keep Norman in the paddock. He didn't do real well though because he still wasn't fed the right food. I ended up buying some proper lucerne hay and fed him myself. We had a big mulberry tree near the paddock and I would feed him the mulberry leaves. He really loved them. Sadly we had to move so we had to tell the guy to sell his horse or take him back. Fortunately the farrier who used to do his feet ended up buying him. I was really happy at that news. He was such a gentle giant. Big horse that was trained as a trotter. Easily 16 or 17 hands high. I was really sad to see him leave. It still amazes me that people buy these animals and then forget them. We had another neighbour who had two older horses. They were ok except their feet were really long and their hooves were left to crack because of them being so long. Fortunately for the horses, they sold them off. I hope they got better treatment where they went to.

My grandmother rescued an abused and starved horse in the spring of the early 1900's. She bought it and my dad (a teen at the time) took the horse to a field that had shade and access to water. When he took the horse there its backbone was prominent and its ribs were showing. They left the horse in the field for a couple of months and then my dad went to see how it was doing . He was astounded at the change. The horse, a 16 hand chestnut gelding, was sleek and rounded out; his backbone and ribs no longer showing. They had that horse for many years, mainly as a pet, and there are many funny family stories about that horse's adventures and misdeeds. If my grandmother hadn't rescued him, that horse would have likely died the next winter but instead he had a wonderful life of freedom and love.

I know exactly what it is knowing I’m not going to eat. I was homeless. 5 days was the longest I went without food. I constantly wondering if I was going to eat, because I was trying to work my way out and was just too uncomfortable with begging. I made it up out of homelessness on my own and when I see stories like this it does something good to my heart. From hungry and broken to full, healthy, and happy is something I know well. I love to see it.

wHAtS uP fUcKeRs • you aren’t selfish ! I have one thing to tell you, you are beautiful, you are loved, you are pretty no matter what, you don’t need to be skinny to be beautiful , just don’t let yourself starve , it is extremely important to eat everyday , something even better is to eat healthy especially in the morning because it will keep your body healthy and your body count will stay constant , please stay safe , talk to people , but just don’t hurt yourself, you are too important to waste your life on some society standards , I’ll repeat it , you are loved and deserve to be
