This is hard to see and so unbelievable! What a gorgeous animal, even at his frailest! He was found at the 11th hour, for he could not have lived much longer without intervention. Now he is at his zenith, looking majestic and grand! Thank you for saving him. He looks young!

Isn't he just? Even when they first brought him out of the trailer, you could see how gorgeous he was. Now that he is healthy and thriving, he is magnificent!!! It's a shame he was gelded (at least, I think he was!). His offspring would have been very beautiful, as well.

I believe that you’ve made a magnificent job of rehabilitating this horse, but indiscriminate breeding is causing a lot of abuse and negligence; in the U.K. animal rescues are not only full to overflowing they have waiting lists as well. For as long as people just churn out cats, dogs, rabbits, horses and anything else you care to mention the situation that your horse was in will continue to be considered not in the least surprising, normal even, it needs to be so rare an event as to shock people.

When I see these horses so thin and suffering, I think of when they were a small foal and their mother taking care of them, always by their side. Thankfully they would never see what humans have done to them to bring them to death's door. These people are saints to help.

Thank you…..a friend of mine runs a shelter and had a similar situation and with the help of a foster family he had a horse go through this transformation. Now he has a healthy body and a new family to love him!
