For me personally the unwanted divorce that I prayed over and over again to not be allowed to happen (but ultimately did happen) rekindles the phrase I learned later... "Some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayer".
My brother committed suicide in2005. I could never do that to my parents for them to lose another one. And all my support system too. I forgot about Pantheism. I could never be an Atheist.
Well thank you very much and yes it's been the Lord it's all the Lord if we don't grow I don't know we must grow I mean that's part of our walk is growing. We are little seedlings and we all have that great potential to be big plants 👍💕
That was an awesome devotion, thank you Starry. I love listening to you talk about Jesus ❤️ He is using you in so many ways to reach lost souls. May He continue to use you abundantly more than you can possibly imagine & bless you and keep you in His loving care🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼
Strarry - Let me ask you a question that I get asked by people many times: Where, in the Scripture, does God the Father, or His Son say, state, or teach that man was not created to die? Please provide the exact Scripture reference Book, Chapter, Verse - not someone's interpretation of what they think a passage might be saying.
Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment. I think this is the scripture she is speaking of. I could be wrong if so please correct me.
@@durantdeb I don't know either, but, off the top of my head, I would say that it is not. We could get into a whole theological debate over the issue - which may or may not be beneficial & helpful.
Ms. Starry, I need to go back to church too. I missed the past 2 weeks. But I went to Bible study last night, a good start. It was Susan's turn, she's the best. I'm also in a women's ministry that helps so much. I need to start reading again. Or listen, I might listen.
I don’t know what Bible you are reading out of but unless it is the king James version it is not The true word of God. There are Bibles that are called the new King James version and other Bibles two that have different names, but the words have been changed in the verses so that means if that’s not God‘s word and the Bible talks about that there shall not be not one word changed in the Bible or, there shall be punishment. Please get a regular King James Bible.
The Bible was written in ancient Hebrew and Greek and thus to get a true understanding of scripture (because there are different meanings to many words depending on the context they are written in), one needs to utilize a study aid like e-sword.
Here's my take on it God knows that there are different versions of his word out there do you think he can't work through the power of the holy Spirit to get his message out through a Bible that may be an ESV versus an nkj or a KJV? I started with the ESV I went to an NIV then I went to a new King James and then to a King James and you see my walk? Do you think it was affected by these different bibles? Don't fall into the trap that Satan wants us to believe that God can't save us through a version of his word that may have some words that have been changed a little bit. You don't give God enough credit nor the holy Spirit I got a big God and there's plenty of people who are using different versions out there whoever spirit-filled wonderful connection with the Lord and they're girded up with the truth whatever version that the holy Spirit has spoken to and I can testify of that 110%
The KJV "... is not The true word of God" either. No translation / version is. We do not know what His 'exact True Words' actually are / were, as we do not have the original autographs, documents, texts to study. All we have are copies of copies of copies ...
We all need to do our own research of God’s truth. Watch Walter Veith - Total Onslaught- Battle of the Bible’s. This is very informative. I pray the Holy Spirit directs our steps and we listen to His guidance. All true followers of Christ want His truth.
