I was listening to this song and I thought it kind of fit with what's been shown so far of AMC's version of the ship, exploring Daniel's lost memories and their relationship. It's meant to mainly be Daniel x Armand, but there's a lot of Louis in there as well, so it can definitely be read as that as well if anyone prefers.
I'm really really hoping we get Devil's minion next season.

I'm intrigued by their relationship in the TV show vs books. I think we see hints that Armand likes how Daniel is feisty compared to Louis, but at the same time desires total control over him which Daniel would not permit

It’s too bad that they had to put the coat back on Armand at the end. I know it’s to coverup the bunching from the wiring harness but considering he is slowly opening up to Daniel (he wears the coat in the first scenes and then his shirt’s neck gets wider and wider till the end scene)

I’m so thankful for your amazing Daniel/Armand videos now that S2 is really confirming their story from the books! I still go back to this video because it’s just so well done! Every time I listen to this song I think of this video, too! 😊

I can't wait for Queen of The Damned. It's my favorite book of the series. I did a verbal book report on it in class once, everyone's face just screamed "wtf". I was like 14. I really hope they do it justice. I was really pleasantly surprised by how much I loved the show. I have a lot of hope.

It just occurred to me... I wonder if they're trying to set the story up in a way that Daniel is the replacement to Talbot in TotBT and it's Daniel that gets youth forever. Hmm...

I’m wondering what is going to be revealed to Daniel that would make him want to be with Armand. Has Armand been watching him all this time? Assad (plays Armand) said that next season we will see him and Louie on a Vespa riding through Paris after the war. In Lestat’s story Armand is vicious, a little devil stomping his foot then begging to to be loved.

Fits in with my fanfic actually, about Daniel’s daughter getting worried and goes looking for him, but used as blackmail against her dad…. But also Armond found out that she has Mayfair blood on her mother’s side and secretly wants to test her and see if she has magic/ at risk of a demon looking for her….. vary much a fanfic.

I wonder if the show version of the devils minion was 12 years of Armand/Daniel/Louis toxic poly relationship as opposed to Armand/Daniel toxic relationship like it was in the books since Armand and Louis are shown to still be together in this version And is it just me, or is anyone else hoping to see both Louis and Daniel furious at Armand when they realised he erased both their memories only to be told by Armand that they both begged to forget and he only did as it was asked of him out of love on season 2?

In Anne Rice's books, which this series is based on, they do. I can't remember right now if any vampire drinks another vampire's blood in Interview with the Vampire, but I know for sure that it happens in The Vampire Lestat, which was written in 1985. And in later books as well It also happens in other vampire media, probably inspired by Rice, such as Vampire the Masquerade. The idea of vampire blood being tasty, or healing, or giving powers or creating intimacy sometimes show up in various different media

Yes, pretty common in the Anne Rice vampire universe as OP explained perfectly. The only thing that they can't drink from is an actual corpse - that is poison for a vampire & hence why they don't kill with just feeding off humans & the humans end up killed in other ways.

I’m rereading Lestat and Armand twice takes blood from him without permission. Armand is furious that Lestat not only looks like his maker in red velvet, but even in his first night is more powerful than Armand at 300. Then when Armand finds out that Lestat found and spoke with Marius he tries to destroy him.

@@FluffyRabbitOfDoom Yes, Lestat drinks Akasha's blood in TVL and also imbibes from the 2000-year-old Marius. In a later book he offers his own blood to the weaker Louis, David & Merrick; and similarly in BF he lets Quinn drink from him. Think of it as an Undead social custom! Very popular at late night parties...

When I think that a show is "horrible" I don't watch it. So, with all due respect: if you hate IWTV so much then why are you checking out its season 2 trailer?
