@nycalgal I love your response. I'm facing my 78th birthday in August and I love my age. Like you in my mind I'm forever young. How beautiful to feel that way. I've heard that everyone is young in heaven so I can't help but feel like I touch a little bit of heaven feeling that way.
I am 3 years younger then you, I am not loving it, already facing eye cataract. I hope you are active. When I see older then I riding a bike I so envy them I admire the older who stay active, things I cannot do. Bonnie you are a great actress and work hard, GH gave you a great role to act in. Aging for me I am grateful for what I am able to do.
"The older we get, the more we accept" You are 60. Bonnie is 62, and I am (wait for it) 64. We Seniors have been through everything life threw at us and YES we are not dead yet despite our aches and pains. :) Thanks Mo. I love this show and the people you have had on. I am age 67, had a bad trauma to my body last year, taken a year that I finally can do little more. Bonnie I envy her and others. A man age 97 can ride his bike, I envy that and admire him. I am grateful to see what others are able to do. I am just grateful for what I can do. I am grateful for my husband who is disabled but does what he can he is older then I am.
I am 60 and I totally agree. You are so down to earth and so I Bonnie, that I feel like I could sit and have coffee and a visit with either of you. I love Bonnie’s portrayal of Gladys so much! 🥰🥰
Bonnie, when we were in high school, I always though you were so smart and sweet. You were an old soul, classy and mature. I think a lot of boys were intimidated by you plus they new you weren’t trashy. You were, and still are, beautiful inside and out. I am very proud of your career and accomplishments. I don’t think you give yourself enough credit.❤️ I’m so sorry that you had to endure sexual harassment. That’s awful for anyone to have to put up with that. I’m glad you don’t have to anymore. You can see how much they genuinely like each other. She asked him almost as many questions as he asked her. I hope that they keep her on "General Hospital". Her great presence adds so much to the show.
I loved Bonnie as Gladys immediately. She was so natural and nuanced and watchable-just a home run for that character. So I’m delighted that she has stuck around and shown more shades of the character. Sometimes Gladys has a soft and caring heart, but she is also very flawed and can’t resist some temptations. Bonnie Burroughs is also a charming and intelligent human so I like her even more!!
I'm 66 and don't care what people think about me. No plastic surgery or botox. No tattoos and eat what I want. Still work full time and enjoy it still. Have been to hell and back a few times in my life. Its made me the strong person I'm today. Great podcast and love Bonnie as Gladys on GH. State of mind awesome channel and Maurie your the best!
Mrs. Bonnie, thank you for being so open. As a young child I was molested... but his family was rich and no punishment was ever had. I'm 43 years young now. I do still have some hurt in my heart- but I'm ok. Thank you & Mr. Maurice. I have been diagnosed Bi-Polar and Adhd, Depression. I'm able to live life normally, I just have these stages of over thinking or staying in bed too long. State of Mind helps me "snap" back out. My husband doesn't quite understand it, he just thinks I'm being lazy. Please don't think bad of him- he's a wonderful man that I've been married to for 21 years now. Anyways, thank you for SOM. Love you all so much. ❤

Gladys is a person I can’t stand on General Hospital, great job Bonnie! You make me want to push you down the stairs every time I see you. Between you and Nina I can’t figure out how many stairs to use. Been watching since I was 13, I’m now 66, talk about being a real fan.

This "State of Mind" with Bonnie was one the of the Best ones I experienced. The whole interview was about everything that interested me from what you Maurice had to say to what everything Bonnie had to say. And you are so right when you said when after we see you have your guest on your show we have a better and new liking for that character. As for Bonnie (Gladys) she plays her part perfectly. And now that I know her a little bit better through your show I think she is an awesome lady and she is down to earth and she knows what life is about.❤ Like what you said Maurice, the older we get the more we accept.❤ I had finally found that peace of mind years ago after I had a mental breakdown. I had to let go of everything I cared about so I could heal. Then it was an uphill climbing battle to just be able to go to the kitchen and wash a dish without crying. That was my baby step...then eventually I could wash all the dishes then I was able to go get help. Thank goodness for my husband, I wouldn't have been able to make it and I wouldn't be here to write this. ❤🎉

I enjoyed watching today and learning more about Bonnie. I didn't know but I was really needing to laugh, since my aunt that I was close with we buried her Friday and I have not been able to feel better since and @stateofmind I was finally able to feel better since that. Thanks Maurice!
I know how Bonnie feels about grandkids. I started late to and got 3, ages 25, 22, and soon 21. No rush on my oldest daughter especially since she’s still working on her mental health. When I saw it was Bonnie I couldn’t wait to watch and she did not disappoint! She’s an awesome actress but she seems like an even better human being. I love that she is so honest and so herself, and it was refreshing to see her be interested in you, too and ask questions. The back and forth made for a richer interview. As for GH, I hope they recognize what a gem she is and that Gladys doesn’t get herself into so much trouble she can’t get out-I always enjoy her scenes. They need to get her a love interest so she can have someone take care of her, since she has worked so hard all her life.
I really appreciated this SOM-I enjoyed getting to see Bonnie the woman and not the character. Perfect word for her-pleasant. Would love to hear more from her in the future
Awesome interview Maurice. Bonnie is so nice and a really great actress. These interviews are so good. Now,, a challenge you have to see about getting an interview with Genie Francis and her husband Jonathon Frakes. Now, that would be really something. So, that would be a bucket list type interview. Something tells me you can make that happen !!!
Bonnie adds a lot of spice to the show. I loved the fact that she mentioned Jeff Kober’s quote as a meditation speaker you can look at the past and you can look at the future but just don’t stare at it. I really enjoyed this interview. Bonnie is so real and grounded. I love her portrayal of Gladys. She brings many dimensions to the character where you see her motivations for her actions and can see underneath her actions Gladys has a good heart. Love how relatable Bonnie is.

I loved this so much! She was honest... I am Bipolar Manic Depressive.. she was so truthful.. Whats so hard for our family is my husband is not diagnosed, but he is bipolar also. We have two boys ages 29, and 26.. both have autism. My oldest is diagnosed at pervasive developmental delay.. my younger son is nonverbal and not potty trained. We have always been so kind and gentle with them
Bonnie Burroughs is a good actress. I remember seeing her on Matlock twice I think. Bonnie plays Gladys so well. I think Gladys can't get out of her own way and that is why she mess's up so often.

Love the new opening. Sound is too low however. This interview is with one of those wonderful people I love to hate. She is such a good actress and she is both funny and so evil at the same time. Her expressions are often hilarious. She has great timing and I really enjoy her.
